Hey friends and followers! We are awaking a bit from the post-con recovery with our social media and I thought it was best to come back with some of these awesome edits Adrienne did of our debut of Rouge and Jubilee at C2E2 earlier this year.
Our con-going together will be on a planned hiatus for awhile due to life focuses with our personal time and budget. But keep following us! Adrienne will be working on some knowledge sharing media, there may still be some smaller con appearances and announcements from us on an individual basis, and we have a bunch of photos and reels bring joy to your timeline in the meantime!

Thank you for all the love we received this weekend and our best experience ever in a cosplay contest! Winning Best-in-Show was just the icing on a really delicious cake. We're already planning what we'll bring next year!

Alright fans..here's our lineup!! With four days and room parties, we always try to fit as much as we can in one weekend!!
This year includes a collaboration cosplay Adrienne has with some of our amazing friends (🤘🎸), a cosplay that I will share with you on the CONVergence mainstage on Friday (eeee! More on that later...), and a big reveal for the cosplay contest that we are stoked about!

Hi Barbie! I mean, everybody! I'm equal parts excited and weirded out by this next weekend since it will be the very first Nakakon I'm going solo without Sara. Nakakon 2018 was our first convention together, so it always hold special significance, but she's got important things to do, and I've got fun solo things planned! If you're a Belle fan, pop in to see me at the karaoke contest on Saturday...you won't be disappointed. And BadAshCos and I will be teaming up with our Rogue & Cyclops cosplays on Sunday, so if you've got an X-Men cosplay in your lineup, consider going for Sunday and find us!
And, if crunch goes well tonight, I'll have a riot of a cosplay ready for the ball on Saturday...hehe.
Can't wait to see all my Naka peeps again!

Hello everyone, and a special hello to all our new followers! As the old ones know, I'm notoriously bad at posting, and if it weren't for Sara, I'd probably have nothing but weird progress shots on our socials, but I wanted to make sure I got on and (if a bit late) did a little wrap-up of our C2E2 trip.
It was, of course, disappointing not to win anything with Danielle at the Crown Championship, but it was amazing to meet all the spectacular cosplayers we competed with and nerd out about cosplay on a deeper level than I've ever experienced. I particularly enjoyed chatting with and seeing the amazing cosplays of and . If you haven't yet, check them out, particularly sarcasm_hime, who won the National title and whom I cannot fangirl enough about. I one day dream of my handwork insanity one day matching hers.
BUT, the silver lining of winning nothing at Crown, means Danielle can compete again! As originally intended...accompanied by Da Vinci...wearing the boat shoes...hehe. So look forward to that coming up soon!
I cannot begin to describe the shock and awe I feel from the response our recent reels for Danielle have gotten. It makes me grin my face off seeing all the other die hard Ever After fandom leaping out of the woodwork and reminding the world that YES this IS the best iteration of Cinderella ever made. Period. To say completing this cosplay is a childhood dream come true is a huge understatement, so I LOVE seeing all you other dreamers falling in love with it all over again, and so many of you starting your own replicas after dreaming for so long! I can't wait to see what you all are capable of.
Last but not least, I need to get my love out there for my cosplay partner/conwife/handler extraordinaire, Sara, for an amazing week of travel, cosplay, and unforgettable fun. I couldn't do any of this without her, and I definitely wouldn't still be doing it if she wasn't there to fangirl with me, encourage me, and, most importantly, assure me that no cosplay is so important that it can't wait if I'm killing myself to get it done. After about 15 hours of commute this trip, I can assure you that new, zany, batsh*t nutso cosplay plans have been newly added to the pipeline. So look forward to a new era of Quite-a-Riot to begin! * cue maniacal laughter *

It's Sara here and today is my birthday! I had an amazing 35th exploring Chicago and experiencing C2E2 with Adrienne. 😊 Here's a costume throwback to when I was a toddler and one of the 101 Dalmations alongside my Happy (from Fairy Tail) cosplay in my mid-30s. 😉
I truly believe that if you have the capacity to never stop playing, then don't! Life is too short to let go of the joy you have in your inner child, and don't let the rest of the world tell you otherwise.

Hi all! Adrienne has been HARD at work to make our first C2E2 together spectacular. Not only are final details coming together for Danielle's Ever After dress, but it is also safe to announce that some other cosplays we have been dreaming up for a while will also debut for our first con weekend of 2024!

Just put together my first wig sewing it from scratch! Not bad for $30 worth of wefts and salvaged bits from gifted ponytail clips, though there's always room for improvement. I'm well into the show embellishments now, which I'll probably share finished tomorrow, but for now, here's a tip for WIP Wednesday: Don't spend the money on a heat setter for hot fix rhinestones, just flip your iron over, balance it between your sneakers, and use a set of bent tweezers to place your rhinestones glue side up right on the iron. wait until they're evenly glossy and pull them off with the tweezers and press firmly onto your base fabric, being careful not to touch the hot rhinestone with your bare fingers.
