Hello Everyone!! I hope I'll see some of you at the new department I'm heading up (on a trial basis) for Nebkon this year! Teaching cosplayers has always been near and dear to my heart, so I've packed the weekend of Anime NebrasKon 10/18-10/20 with every fabric panel, sewing workshop, and cosplay guest panel I can! We've got major sponsors (Big Z Fabrics, Bernina, Goldstar Tools) helping us out with supplies, and Tandy Leather coming to do a demo! Come check us out way up on the third floor for an overdose of all things cosplay crafting in the new Cosplay Academy!

Attention, anyone who has ever asked me where to get a sewing machine! There is a massive sale of a woman's collection of older sewing machines happening in November nearby in Syracuse. The antiques will probably go for higher prices, but all those serviceable lines of cases will probably be going for $10 a pop or cheaper. Some of those older machines are infinitely better than buying a cheap Singer now, because they were built with parts that were meant to last! (unlike today) So, by the power invested in me by the sewing and thrifting gods, I spread this foreknowledge and send you forth to reap the savings! 😁

The end of our Ever After photoshoot share (for now...hehe) will be World Beard Day!!
What a perfect excuse to showcase Adrienne's finest beard-build...Leonardo DaVinci!

Not only did it look fantastic, but it was also pretty comfortable to wear - and looks GREAT with sunglasses! (Truly one of our favorite shots of the whole photoshoot🤣)
