As we say farewell to 2024, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to all the artists, door crew, NSL Productions, Bris-Tek and the venue staff who have helped this year’s events run so smoothly and professionally.

We are extremely fortunate to be surrounded by such ridiculous talent and dedicated crew here in Bristol. Of course, none of it works without you guys showing up every month to show your support.

So, thank you all for making our tenth year in business such a special one. Between eleven Socialz events at the Red Lion, the tenth birthday party at Clock Factory and our takeovers at Balter Festival, here is every artist we brought to you in 2024. What a lovely weekend to love breakcore and hardcore. The people of Antwerp get a ridiculous line-up at the legendary Breakcore Gives Me Wood, Rotterdam gets the mighty PRSPCT Recordings with Stazma / Repeat Eater, Hellfish and a ton of our friends and family, and Bristol gets not only Ruby My Dear and Dr...um at Contraband Circus, but also Skitzaph0nic and Marxman, who will be making their Varispeed Socialz debuts at our Shefftek takeover tomorrow.

So, all in all, a pretty stacked weekend 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Wherever you are and whichever flavour of 'core you prefer, get out there, have a beast and support at least one of these events. If you don’t, then you won’t get nice things in the future 😘

We’re bringing you a storming lineup this Friday, packed with relentless industrial kicks and tearout breakcore, courtesy of the delightful Shefftek crew. This one’s extra special, as we welcome not one, but two headliners we’ve been itching to host at a Varispeed Socialz event.

Liverpool’s Skitzaph0nic brings his ferocious take on breakcore straight off the back of his recent (and killer) PRSPCT Recordings release, while Marxman heads over from The Netherlands to make his Varispeed debut, ready to unleash a heavy dose of industrial crossbreed lunacy on you all.

With the VOID rig dialled in at The Lion, it’s going to sound absolutely monstrous. Still only £6 as well! So, don’t sleep on this - come early, rave your goddamn t**s off and support your local 'core.

Oi oi, you lucky people! Next Friday (25th Oct) we’re bringing Blockdata and his big ole bag of snares down from Newcastle to headline our 35th Socialz event. Heavyweight breaks inbound!

In support, we have Socialz regulars, FFINN bringing the ghetto bass vibes, Cytokine with all the industrial kicks and a special 90-minute acid shred from Ben Pest & Scheme Boy. All still at the bargain price of £6!

Bang Face roll call! Who’s coming out to play?

We’re always excited for the scene’s annual convention, but we’re especially hyped for this first outing at Butlins. As usual, there will be loads of the extended Varispeed friends and family both attending and performing. Although, we are totally biased, so you should definitely prioritise Hellfish, Ruby My Dear, S.Murk, Hollie Anthwax, and Algorithmic 😉

We’ll bring some merch goodies with us as well. As pictured here, we’ll have the new Varispeed long sleeves with us, as well as some Enduser “Making Jungle Sad” tees, some 20 Years of The Teknoist & Scheme Boy tees and THE LAST THREE remaining yellow peaked Varispeed caps. So, let us know if you want anything put aside.

Just a few days until we celebrate our tenth birthday and the stacked line-up that is the Varispeed roster.

Over the last decade, we've been very fortunate to have the trust and faith of some of the best producers and DJs in the business. Without them, we'd be nothing. So, getting this many of the key heads together is a big deal for us.
