Week 8-15 June

Lake Regulars Neil and Dave returned with 2 new friends Wayne and Tony.
Didn’t think the lake would fish to well after spawning, it was hard going, although some good results.
20 carp was landed with Neil landing the biggest of the week, a 62 lb common.
Neil and Dave landing 7 carp each.
Wayne having 5 carp up to 48lb
It wasn’t Tony’s week, second visit needed for revenge.
Carp are hard to catch at the moment, you really have try everything in the book.

Week 18-25 May

Phil , Dan , Chi ,Simon and Ian unfortunately had a tough week with the carp still wanting to spawn .
They did manage to bank a few lumps .

Week 11-18 May
Colin, Paul and Jason managed 23 carp up to
53 lb .
The carp started to spawn then stopped when temperatures dropped .
The weather is so up and down this May, a very wet start to the season .

Week 4-11 May .

Good to have this weeks group back again .
Chris , Jamie ,David and Andy .

Unfortunately the week didn’t go well with car trouble on the way .
Then Chris and Jamie’s Dad David having to go in to hospital on the Monday , struggling to breathe . Luckily for David some antibiotics got him better to come out Friday .
The lads did manage to land 10 carp . Andy landing the biggest at 51 lb .

Lake Regulars Keiron ,Nathan and Josh managed 19 carp with Nathan landing the biggest a 49 lb common .

5 anglers on this week .
Stewart, Spencer ,Aaron,
David and Susan
And Dutch regular Ray .
21 carp landed on a very cold week Monday and Tuesday -4 at night , what made the fishing very hard .
Stewart landing the biggest of the week a common at 59 lb 12 oz.
Spencer landing a new pb common at 49 lb
Aaron landing a new pb common at 39 lb.
Ray landing 4 carp up to 50lb
David landing the most carp 13 the
Biggest 47 lb .
David’s wife Susan definitely the most walking this week up and down to the island swim .

The Snow finally comes with temperatures dropping down to -8 at least.

The clear up around the lake has started.
Getting ready for the new season.
Only 8 weeks to get ready for our first customers on March 9th.

The bad winds have been helping to decide what extra trees I’m cutting up.
There are still a few trees that are dead & dangerous that need coming out.

2024 season is fully booked.

2025 season is getting booked quickly.

LAST CARP LANDED OF 2023.
Lake Regulars Dennis and Remco managed to land 11 carp the biggest of the carp
56.9 , 55. 4 , 51. 4 , 48.4c , 44 and a 42 .

David landing this stunning common at 61 lb
then a 55 lb mirror.

Winter season has started….Some nice carp getting caught by Remco, who managed 3 carp in 48 hours, biggest carp 42lb.
Ray managed 5 carp in cold temperatures,
a common & a mirror, both weighing 44lb Were the biggest for the week.

A great week for lake regular Dan who managed to get amongst the big uns .
With The biggest carp called Lumpy at 64 lb .
Dan also landing Blackspot at 51lb.
And 4 high 40+ carp , landing 8 carp .
Nice photos Phil , it just wasn’t your week .
Losing 2 carp and a big Common at the net .

After a lovely hot October the rain certainly came . Rain all week for Joe , Charlie , Barry , Marcel and Lowie .
Joe finally landing his first 50lb carp at 51 lb .
Charlie landing a new pb at 46 lb 12oz and also Barry landing a new pb at 47 lb 4 oz
Marcels biggest 46 lb and Lowie a 48 lb

Taff was over the moon with his first ever 50 lb carp , I was close and keen with the bucket of
Water.
Drew and Mick landing 40 lb + carp .
First time at the lake and booking again for 2026

A few weeks back on Saturday morning packing up Gary managed to land the carp all our anglers are after
The Silver Surfer at 66lb.
Well done mate .

Last week 9-16 September
23 caught
6 x 50 carp Biggest 2x 58 lb carp
7 x40 carp. Biggest 2 x 48 lb carp

July Break .

Mark and Jane, who are very Good friends of ours, looked after the lake and animals so we could have a short break away.

Really bad weather hit france in July, a lot of strong winds and heavy rain.

Mark enjoyed the fishing, landed a new PB,
a carp called Albert at 59 lb 15 oz, soon to be another 60lb.

Jane landing a few carp to 27lb, good going for a new angler.

Week 15 -22 July

A week in the sun for Neil and 3 brothers ,
Lee,Andy and Tony resulted in new PB for 3 .
Neil with the biggest of the week at 53 lb 5 oz .
Lee landing Toenails at 52lb.
Andy landed a new PB mirror at 46 lb
Good fishing in the heat guys .

As I sit writing this Its 48C in the sun...
I think our new group are melting trying to set up🌡️🔥

Week 1-8 July
A new group to the lake, Ryan, Jamie, Jimmy
and Pete, had a great week for July considering this heat.
The guys managed 41 carp, with 3 x50 Ib carp
getting landed...
Jamie, landing the biggest at 52lb 12oz, also with the most caught, 16 carp.
Ryan, with the second biggest at 52lb.
Jimmy and Pete landing all so, & having had a new PB.
But Jamie taking the cash, with the biggest fish.

Lake newcomer Paul has been trying for a 50 lb common for years , he only goes and lands the
Silver Surfer at 68 lb
2 very Happy anglers .
Colin’s biggest carp of the week was 51 lb
31 carp landed , good angling guys 👍

Week 15-22 April
Gary , Sam, Nick and Ben enjoyed there week at the lake , But not the cold nights .
Gary with the biggest carp of the week and a new PB 62 lb Mirror .
Ben and Sam also managed new PB
Ben landing his First 50 lb carp at 51 lb.
Sam happy with a 46 lb mirror .

Still getting frosts at night ,certainly not helping the fishing .

Hopefully will get the full group next Year .

A new PB Common for Michael Baxter . Fishing with Pallatrax Crave boilies and Gripz size 6 curve shank hooks . Many thanks to Michael for coming over to help with jobs at the lake . All the dead tall pines at the entrance are now cut down , so the the old Oak tree can be seen on arrival .

A great week for Patrick , Ferry, Etjen, Marco and Jefta. A really wet week in May but hard work produces some Big Carp 9 x 50lb + carp Biggest 59lb 4 oz mirror and 57 lb 2 oz common.
