Pros and cons of photographing a friend. Con is - the pressure is on 😆😅. Pro is - we can step straight into shooting as there’s already a level of comfort, I’m completely chuffed they asked me, and I get the honour of capturing this special time for them. Pros outweigh the cons for sure 😘😘😘

Jean!!!!!! You are honestly amazing. I swear these photos get better and better every year. These are so incredibly amazing. Those action shots with the kids on the beach at the end, and the first ones in the little bush area. Everything. They are beautiful. How will I ever choose?!!! One day, when the kids turn 18, you are going to need to make me a hard cover book with all of them!!! Love them. Thankyou ###

I just got home from a shoot, and thought how much I love my job and how grateful I am to my clients. I’ve just met so many beautiful, kind people this year who fully trust me to capture their family. What a privilege!

How incredible are women’s bodies. Whether through pregnancy, birth, breast feeding (and then not), infertility challenges and procedures, a life time of constant change. The strength in a woman is something else. How special to capture just a part of it ❤️

As 2023 comes to a close, and I finish up my last few galleries for the year, I’m reflecting on the past 12 months. It’s been a huge year for me, with a lot of professional and creative growth. I feel so content with my business and my work, and am so grateful for the incredible clients who have found me. I won’t lie, the winter worried me, it was very quiet for many photographers, myself included. And then October hit me with a bang and reminded me that everything happens in waves (and to next time enjoy the low months a bit more 😅). This behind the scenes video was an important one for me this year. I really wanted to convey to you what a newborn session in your home feels like. Wonderfully documented by @paigegotts.photosandfilms 🧡 Lots of enquiries coming through for 2024, so I’m really looking forward to what the next year brings.
