Wow! It’s been a wild summer y’all! Lots of you have been asking where we have been and the answer is, all over! This has been our busiest catering year yet and we are so thankful to all of our clients! Look for the trailer to be out for some public events in the coming months and keep us in mind for all your catering needs. We love you Knoxville!

Spring food is so fun! We got some pullet eggs from our friends at Bales Farm and they are the cutest things ever! Pullets are chickens less than a year old that have just started laying eggs. These eggs are tiny and packed with flavor. Find them on a kilt salad as the second course for Friday’s Dinner in the Dogwoods at Mabry-Hazen House. Peas please! One of our absolute favorite spring crops! Peas will be featured in the first course at this Friday’s Dinner in the Dogwoods at Mabry-Hazen House in the form of a dreamy spring pea soup topped with creme fraiche, chili oil, and pickled redbud blossoms.
