Our Story

The one and only original singing Princess Party Company in the city!

Founded in 2013, from the very start Princess Parties by Mimi’s goal was to bring theme park quality to Calgary, as not everyone can travel to theme parks. Our founder, Ismini McCaig, originally contracted for other companies in the city, after a couple parties she felt there was something missing. Thus to bring you that extra magic and sparkle, Princess Parties by Mimi was born! Our first year was spent developing our top notch party platform, offering the most authentic party experience in the city. We know this because it has been tested!

In December of 2017, McCaig made the difficult decision to sell Princess Parties by Mimi to her second in command Amy Cooper. Cooper had been working for Princess Parties by Mimi since 2015, and had been running the company for a few months prior to buying it. Having been trained and working directly with McCaig, Cooper is easily able to uphold the extremely high standards for parties, costumes, casts and more. Some say Cooper is even more of a perfectionist when it comes to costumes, singing and performance!

2018 has been an incredible year for us and brought on many new and fun experiences. Including new characters, cast members, events and performances for our cast to flaunt their talents and much more. Much of this is due to the wonderful customers and client base we have.
