You can be a book purist, or only know the characters on screen. We don't judge formats here.

Time performing: 8 years

Favourite performance memory: Some of the cake sitting performances I have done are some of my favourites. I don’t have one single performance memory that stands out to me on its own. The performances that I really love are the ones when I walk off the stage feeling like I was free to be completely myself and had the pleasure of others enjoying that with me.

Johnny Diamond is a local drag king who has been entertaining drag fans of Newfoundland since 2013. He was the first ever drag king winner of Newfoundland’s longest running drag competition, Drag Idol. Known for his alternative acts and eccentric style, Diamond is fabulous, extremely talented, and very humble. Johnny always leaves the audience wanting more, and he always delivers.

Name: Vera Von Henson (she/her/they/them)

Time Performing: going on 3 years and just getting started!

Favourite performance: so far my favourite performance has been to Zombie by The Cranberries! That was the first time I ever used fans! I absolutely loved the flow of the feathers and how it added a really soft start to an amazingly strong song (one of my personal all time favourites)! I also love fashion and designing clothes, so most of my outfits are handmade by yours truly and this experience thus far has been an amazing outlet. 🖤 And I have no plans on stopping this creative process anytime soon! I’m just getting started and I’m so incredibly grateful for all the amazing people this adventure has brought into my life thus far!

Looking forward to: Embracing the weirdness, being more vulnerable, creative and hopefully sharing a few laughs along the way! 🖤

Time performing: almost 7 years

Favourite performance memory: Has been to be my Enter Sandman number. I let loose and let the music take control and the out come was amazing. I felt like I owned the stage, the room, the audience. It was magic to me being able to perform to one of my all time favourite songs and express my love of music and dance together.

Looking forward to: All my adventures in the future with burlesque and the amazing opportunities and friendships it has brought into my life.

Time performing: 16+ years

Favourite performance memory: I've been doing burlesque essentially my entire adult life so there are so many performances that are connected to distinct memories in my growth (both good and bad). But ultimately, and not to sound cheesy, my favourites are every little moment in which I felt the confidence I gained through performing seep into my regular life. Oh, also dumping an entire bottle of champagne all over myself was pretty fun too.

With an artistic gymnastics background, Leah Strong first discovered their love for aerials after watching a local circus show & has since used circus as a method of self-expression. They have been doing circus since 2018, and it has been a journey of performing full of surprises and lessons!

Leah is a multidisciplinary artist including aerials, hula hooping, juggling, partner acro, eating fire and most recently hair suspension.

They’re so excited to be a part of this production!

Favourite performance memory: Two answers for this!

Of someone else: Watching Honey Fury perform an incredibly powerful and touching cover of Bohemian Rhapsody that brought me (and the entire room to be honest) to tears. That performance will forever live rent free in my mind.

Favorite memory of my own:
The catharsis of ripping up my first wedding photo on stage to Hit 'em Up Style and then pouring glitter all over myself. I swear I am still finding that glitter several years and moves later.

Looking forward to: Continued growth in skill, continuing burlesquing for the foreseeable future. You haven't seen the last of me!
