Mount Moriah Community Events Est. 2023 Mount Moriah Community Events (MMCE) is a committee that will carry out various events in our town for the residents of Mount Moriah. EST. 2023

The MMCE will not replace existing events currently provided by the existing Mount Moriah Recreation Committee. The MMCE will be working collaboratively with the MM Recreation Committee and MM Volunteer Fire Department.

CAUTION ⚠️ We had a person go through the ice on Murley’s pond on foot today. There are snowmobile tracks on the ice but we want to remind you we had no cold temps so it is NOT safe!

The Mount Moriah Fire Department are having a Snowmobile run taking place March 1st! Feel free to contact anyone of our members for a sponsor sheet and we will see that it gets to you! There are a lot of great prizes for top sponsor sheets come join us for a day of fun followed by a night of dancing at our 2nd annual Snow dance tickets only $10 each! Come support your local Mt. Moriah Fire Dept.! Hope to see you there!

Looking for a new Uniform? Our Mt. Moriah Fire Dept is currently seeking new members to join us! We offer training on everything you need to know to be a successful Firefighter! Come join us Monday nights at our Fire Department 7pm except for holidays. Did you know volunteer Firefighters receive a $6000 tax claim benefit with completed yearly hours! Just another reason to join! Hope to see you there!

This evening, the 54th Corner Brook Scouts organization conducted a community service project at Cook's Brook Day Park, planting bulbs for next spring. Commissioner Alison Hackett with Leaders Kyle, Chantelle, Lindsey and Mary accompanied the group.
