Actor and Illusionist David Alnwick presents Charles Dickens' 'The Signal-Man.'
A lone traveller befriends a railway signalman who has a terrifying tale to tell. This one-man performance of Dickens' gothic horror is preceded by a live performance demonstration of Victorian spiritualism. Expect an evening of ghosts, illusions, and chilling tales.

We're thrilled to announce that David Alnwick, the UK's leading horror magician will perform at HorrorConUK in the Big Hall theatre on both Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May 2023.

David Alnwick is the UK's leading horror magician, a pioneer of 'Immersive Narrative Magic,' David has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival for over a decade, and toured theatres all throughout the UK. His 2021/2 hit show 'Nightmare Magic' terrified audiences throughout the country and led to a TEDx talk where Alnwick discusses his personal brand of illusion. HorrorConUK marks his first ever convention appearance. Alnwick will deliver a 45 minute presentation and demonstration on what makes magic scary (including some never before seen effects).
