Today, I had the profound honor of capturing and being a part of one of the most beautiful moments in all my years of photography! It wasn’t about the perfect setup, the sunny sunlight, or the most beautiful weather. In fact, it was in a courtroom with less-than-ideal lighting, and it was even raining outside with the gloomiest weather I’ve seen in weeks. But none of that could possibly dim the joy of the ChiaVillier family on this special day! For the past few years, I’ve been blessed to photograph this sweet family, watching them grow and foster the most precious little ones. But today, I was invited to witness and capture something truly extraordinary—the raw, real emotions of a family’s love on this exact day.
This amazing family adopted not one, not two, but three beautiful children! The emotions were overwhelmingly beautiful—from the moment I walked through the court elevator doors, it was about capturing the smiles and laughs the family shared in the hallway, the tender moments when the whole family joined hands in prayer before entering the courtroom, to the instant when the adoption was granted, forever sealing their family bond. Tears flowed freely, and my heart is still overflowing with joy for the sweet ChiaVillier family as I type this post tonight! I send my warmest congratulations to you and your entire family, and I will be forever grateful that you chose me to capture and witness such a precious, unforgettable moment in your lives!
