I had the opportunity to provide some entertainment at the Willow Creek Barn once more! It was a little rainy and windy (not like a hurricane ), but it held off just enough to make for a great day. The temperature was great and made for a great day to celebrate Mr. And Mrs Williams. Everything was beautiful. Congratulations !

Hey everyone! I have some news. I’m feeling happy and sad at the same time for many reasons about what I’m sharing today. This is lengthy and heartfelt for me to put out. Before I dive right in to this post, I just want to say that I’m excited to dj for all of my clients this and next year! I’m anxious to get back out there and entertain masses of strangers, friends, and family. It has been my passion to interact with people while keeping a good flow of music. I’ve made many friends along the way. I’m grateful for the continuous support everyone has sent my way over the last 7 years. Seeing the joy of two families unite and celebrate with friends, calm to crazy, has always been a blessing. 2024 and 2025 are going to be absolutely stellar.

I want to emphasize one thing ,clearly! I AM NOT DONE DJ-ing!! I am going to continue to DJ as long as I’m alive. I am continuing to DJ with DJ Indiana from here on out, however , I will no longer be booking Boss Beats DJ anymore. I will be closing down this page, my website , and downsizing some equipment. Ive still got weddings to do for the next few years, so it will get done! I’ve had a great 7 years with the brand I made .

Here comes the sad part. This last part is some of the things in life that I can’t really control and that have affected my desire to run a business. Folks, I’m burnt out! I’m burnt out on following leads, contacting people , and trying to promote myself. I work a full time job and have a career that I’m passionate about. Is this selfish? I hope it doesn’t sound that way, but I’ve have been on the worst emotional roller coaster with booking weddings, for quite a while. I’ve had serval leads (potential bookings) just fall through for God knows what reason. No fault of anyone, but it’s the cards I’ve been dealt. Am I a bad DJ? I don’t think so, at least I’ve never heard many complaints. In fact, I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews. Thank you guys so much for that! Back to what’s discouraging me. Just maintaining a quota and not booking like I should be is so frustrating. It’s getting to the point of me asking “is the cost of owning / running my company paying itself off?” With my main job as an electrician , I am being called to put more focus there where I’m needed , rather an unstable market that just can’t sustain my business without putting so much energy and time into it. I have so much competition , it’s insane. I rather support my dj friends if anything. Again, I want to keep being a DJ, but I don’t want to run the business and deal with the uncertainty.

To conclude this, I want to cover the happy part. Boss Beats family will always be Boss beats Family . I am looking forwards to having more time and energy to direct towards my family and career. I feel as if a weight is being lifted, and if anything, I can be a better person as a result. I may venture back into running business in the future when the time is right. I’m not saying this is a forever goodbye, but it is an “until next time”. Thank you all so much! ❤️

Wow! I had the opportunity to bring music to my big family once again! This time, I want to congratulate Amy and Jake on their wedding! I was pretty wiped out by the end of the night, but everything I threw at it was worth it in the end. Beautiful weather, great food, great vendors, the best part - family. Saturday was a very special day for some of my recent clients- from their gorgeous wedding to the celebrations afterwards. I had the opportunity to celebrate with Skylar and Kreig in Moorseville. Seeing these folks have a blast and the atmosphere of fun, it is was fuels my passion to be a mobile dj. Congratulations to Skylar and Kreig on their beautiful wedding.
