Our partner Conference Partners International brought over 2,000 delegates from 196 Countries to for the One Young World Conference. The conference brings leaders of tomorrow to share learnings on issues that impact the world today - Food Crisis, Education, Peace and Reconciliation, Mental Health and Climate. Conference was a key focus with the team creating a connection between the Conference and the city by bringing delegates to experience local activism in Belfast. Exhibitors also displayed Belfast street art on their stands which helped raise the profile of local artists.

Our partner Smithbucklin announce some leadership changes. Congratulations to Jim McNeil for his role heading up their huge association management business and to Don Neal who assumes the newly created role of chief strategy officer, Smithbucklin. The leadership changes are part of an ongoing organizational initiative to focus on innovation and excellence in Association Management, and build capacity in other lines of business, including further strengthening of their agency and outsourcing capabilities.

McNeil has more than 30 years of experience working with associations and for-profit companies and has served as a senior executive leader at Smithbucklin for more than a decade, in a variety of roles. An experienced marketing advisor, author, speaker and entrepreneur, Neal has been building brands and leading organizations for more than three decades.

Congratulations Roslyn McLeod on receiving Honorary Membership of ICCAWorld. Roslyn was an Honorary Secretary of ICCA from 1987 – 1990 and served as a Board Member from 1996 – 2000 and again from 2002 – 2004. In 2018, ICCA named Roslyn one of the industry’s top 10 most inspirational women.
