We had an incredible time at the Grand Hyatt Seoul for the 2024 Hyatt MICE Customer Advisory Forum! As a strategic partner, we showcased our cutting-edge event production capabilities, leaving attendees in awe with immersive experiences like table projection mapping and stunning LED visuals during the Gala dinner.

Encore APAC leaders, Katherine Pfahl and Michael Magafa, delivered powerful presentations on the future of event technology and the critical role of sustainability and the personalisation of events.

The Million Dollar Lunch last Friday was a million dollar success - literally! Congratulations to the MDL organising committee for putting on a truly wonderful Million Dollar Lunch and raising almost $2.1 million to support the Children’s Cancer Foundation's efforts in cancer research, clinical care and family support.

We were honoured to be one of the cornerstone partners and help bring this year's MDL to life, bringing a whole new level of creativity! The striking theme of Illusion had taken over the Palladium at Crown Melbourne, in spectacular style. More details to follow, but for now, enjoy the reel 🤩

We're so proud of our team, who had successfully delivered the ISTH 2024 Congress in Bangkok, Thailand. With over 3,800 participants from 40 countries attending across four days, this was the largest event Encore Asia has delivered to date - and truly a global showcase of coordination and innovation.

From stunning stage designs to flawless logistics, the team went above and beyond made sure every detail was just right. We’re especially proud of our global coordination efforts, which allowed us to provide consistent and customised AV solutions and event productions across the board.

The PCMA APAC Lab sessions held in Sydney and Melbourne this week were AI-epic! The insights and discussions among about the future of events with Artificial Intelligence were simply next level.

Here are the highlights:

PCMA Labs Sydney (16 July):

On Tuesday, Brad Twynham captivated attendees with insights on AI's transformative potential and outlining the five different types of AI in use today. He urged us to shift our perspective on AI and focus on "intelligence amplification" and adaptable learning, sparking a dynamic Q&A on AI investments and company policies. The session showcased practical AI tools, emphasised industry collaboration, and reaffirmed PCMA Asia Pacific (APAC)'s commitment to education.

PCMA Labs Melbourne (18 July):

Led by the visionary Peter Williams of Deloitte Digital, Peter shared his journey from accountant to digital pioneer, likening the rise of the internet to the current AI revolution. He highlighted the creative power of generative AI in text, images, and audio. The session underscored the importance of validating AI outputs, the rapid adoption of AI in Asia Pacific, and practical tips for using AI effectively. In true workshop fashion, participants engaged hands-on with AI tools, creating a GPT for PCMA and showcasing the ability to generate personalised content and automate tasks. The session ended with a Q&A highlighting AI’s time-saving and creative benefits.

Across both Sydney and Melbourne sessions, Encore's Director of Innovation & Technology Procurement, Daniel Lourenco, unveiled groundbreaking technologies and trends transforming meeting spaces and enhancing attendee experience.
