Highlights from today: Galaxy Rose special request (COOL idea), buffalo chicken mac n cheese IN A WAFFLE CONE, simple flowers that she really loved, and I FINALLY GOT THE FINGER PUPPETS i always think about getting from the vendor who's at like every event I do π

I love painting at because I always get fresh new requests from my favorite little cosplayers and lots of new toys and books. The Yoshi request was a first for me: his dad and I both thought he wanted a Yoshi face paint, but what he REALLY wanted was for me to paint Yoshi's face π I always aim to please.

More adventures in painting my friends' designs at local fairs! Here's a few from a couple weeks ago with in Old Lyme. This was an awesome little fair; the kids were super cool and I painted a ton of excellent teenagers. Glad I brought my earplugs though, because the hammer game next door was the loudest, most obnoxious thing I've ever worked next to for 12 hours! The kids hated it more than I did π’ππ’ππ’π
I knew they were out there, but I'm FINALLY meeting all the face painters in my area and working more than I have in years! π I love that I've found my people, and it's fun getting to try out their designs ππ¦ππ‘

Ugh the best/ worst thing about working comic and toy shows is being surrounded by so much cool stuff. I didn't get the Technodrome, but I thought about it π I did bring home the Frazetta, Treehouse of horror, some punk CDs and earrings that look like the Alien mother is crawling through your ear

I'm at my third Connecticut Collecticon in Norwich tomorrow! (Later today, actually π¬) Come see me for all your pop culture needs. If you don't see it, just ask π Lots of excellent vendors and artists are there, part of the proceeds go to charity, and the $5 admission can't be beat! Even with all the cool stuff you'll buy there, it's still way cheaper than taking the kids to a fair and standing in line all day in the hotass sun π€£ππ« π

There's a place near me that has an arcade, lasertag, trampoline, AND bowling in the same building. Probably more if I had to guess. They did not have party options like this when I was a kid π³
