I’m having top surgery!!!! I never thought this would happen. I assumed I would just live uncomfy in my body for the rest of my life. This is so big and so exciting! But I’m gonna need a little help. I’ll be out of work for 8 weeks to recover and our bank account is going to feel it. Every little bit helps. I love you all!

This sweet, warm, low-key, + moody af growing-family session has me wrecked! For one, these are two the most genuinely amazing and kind people on this planet. This sweet baby is going to have a beautiful life full of love and growth and acceptance, surrounded by the most wonderfully loving parents. I am so excited for this whole family and consider it a literal honor that they asked me to be a part of this small moment for them! ♥️♥️

We’re taking a break from social media platforms. ✌🏻

It’s no surprise to anyone that 2020 + 2021 had been tough on all of us, and we are certainly no exception. Lately I find myself scrolling and only feeling ick about it. Which in turn means you get half-assed (or no) content. We are on our 6th wedding season and have never stepped away like this - but it’s becoming increasingly obvious that it is time to take a little while for ourselves and reconnect in other ways outside of social media.

Beyond that, I’ve spent the last few years working diligently towards positive changes for the q***r community. This comes with a lot of hate and anger, that I don’t showcase because I’m not interested in inflicting more harm onto my amazing community, who does not deserve it. This means I shoulder it alone, and it very much effects my mental health. Frankly, right now, I’m tired. While I in no way plan to stop working towards creating a more inclusive, safe, and welcoming wedding industry, it would be nice to have a break.

Furthermore, the stress of the move has been really difficult on us, and we still don’t feel settled yet. We are working to finish our 2021 edits while already in the throes of our 2022 season, and adjust to our new lives. It’s tough. And we need some space to do that.

This doesn’t mean we’re completely unavailable though! Email will be the only way to reach us for a while and those will always be answered and responded to as quickly as I’m able.

Today’s recap is super exciting because I haven’t been able to share this one, yet! This year I decided to reach out to a couple photographers to ask if I could shadow their weddings - we are so excited to add photography to our business, and even though I have plenty of experience AT weddings, I wanted to make absolutely sure I was ready. I wanted to “see the other side” and experience what it’s like from my counterparts point of view. This was the first wedding I shadowed this year, and it was such a wonderful day!

So an astronomically huge thank you to for allowing me to tag along, answering my questions, and just generally being a phenomenal human. This year has been such a huge learning experience and Kelsey has been instrumental in that. I am so grateful she let me tag along. And so grateful for the incredible people I’ve met along this journey so far. ♥️

Next up on our trip down 2021 lane are these two amazingly wonderful + loving humans 🥰🥰

Spending time with Elena + Kristen on this day was remarkable and lovely and I’m pretty sure it was exactly what our souls needed. We swapped stories and shared our lives and laughed the whole time.

I’m genuinely beyond grateful for each relationship I get to be a tiny bit instrumental in, but this was is inarguably one of the most special ♥️

Next on our tour de 2021 is this most gorgeous freaking wedding we may have everrrrr shot 😍😍 to be fair, Mother Nature did AAAAAAAALL the decorating and you really just can’t beat her taste 🤩

I’m actually going to share 3 different videos for this one. 1) is their teaser, 2) their full video, and 3) the TikTok that has over 915,000 views! 🥳🥳

Jamie + Mel got married at sunset on the top of the north rim in Sedona at Merry-Go-Round rock. After a wildly bumpy + seriously fun ride to top (with the best guide we could have asked for!) the view absolutely rocked me! I would still claim it to be the best view I have E V E R seen in my life. Followed quickly by the most beautiful ceremony. Which had me in tears the entire time 😭

These two quickly moved from clients to friends and we are so happy + grateful this crazy job brought us two of the most amazing people.

Sorry if this made you cry, Jamie. We love you both a lot though! ♥️♥️

We’re ENGAGED!! ……again 😇

Today marks 5 years of marriage for Tori and I!! ♥️ To celebrate, we took the train into the city and spent the day with the absolutely amazing .sheffield for our anniversary photos! 🤩 they’re (obviously) not ready yet so for now you’ll have to settle for some throwback shoots of us!

When it comes to us, I don’t have a lot of regrets… but the one that I do have is that I never had the opportunity to propose back to Tori. Back then, I didn’t realize it was a thing I could do, and I’ve always been sad that she never had the opportunity to feel special and be told how much I absolutely love and adore her.

So here we are… 5 years into marriage and engaged again 😜

We recently had the opportunity to celebrate an amazing wedding at the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

First of all - this couple was an absolute dream of amazing-ness. Second of all - this event is insane. Tori lifted off into the air with Jeremiah + Jordi while I watched it all unfold from the ground. And honestly? I don’t truly know who had the better view.

This isn’t the ✨official✨ teaser for this gorgeous wedding. But it is a little taste of the experience! 😘
