Firstly, let us all here at SmithFest apologise for the extended hiatus. The last year and a bit havent been great. However, things are happening behind the scenes, and we intend to come back, in one way or another. Watch this space.

Secondly, we are very excited to formally announce that one of our own is helming the revival of a venue down in Middlesbrough. Doctor browns is back, with additional thanks going to the guys at NE Volume for being monumental in sourcing the acts for the return of live music nights. Tonight we have the amazing sounds of Shore and The Thieves with free entry to boot! Get yourselves down!

In light of current events, SmithFest will not be returning for 2021. This would have been the 6th event after last years cancellation but for the safety of our team, the performers, and their families we’ve decided to postpone for another year. We’re super excited to bring it back hopefully in 2022, and we’ll see you in the pub when they reopen. Don’t forget to support all your local bands when the world reopens.
