Happy Friday! We have officially finished out our summer weddings and are taking a look back..

Let it be said that this was truly one for the books. We talk about this (even though we try not to put it out there into the universe), but sometimes it is unavoidable.. that unavoidable thing RAIN 🌧️

Sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. This wedding taught me what go with the flow really means. Now we’ve had rain before, don’t get me wrong we always have a backup plan. However… a tornado warning + losing power on a 100 degree day in an 18th century barn is a life lesson.

Thankfully we work with the best of the best! We were able to quickly move things inside of the barn, have a generator within an hour + make the ceremony happen only 15 minutes after the original start time + have the rest of the night be a blast!! AND might I add with a packed dance floor 🪩🕺the entire night!

You can plan and plan for situations like this, but until you are truly in them it’s a whole different experience.

To my team + the vendors + Emily and Steve (our amazing bride + groom) + their bridal parties + family and friends - thanks for taking this wild ride that turned out to be one of the best and most unforgettable weddings!

C + B’s wedding last week was absolute perfection!

Intimate weddings are all the rage for us this year! We’re talking 60 or less, and now don’t get me wrong we love a BIG wedding.. but there’s something so special about a smaller wedding. Seeing our couples surrounded by their most cherished and loved ones. Being able to spend more time with their guest, bridal party and partner. There’s a different energy on wedding days like these. It’s a sort of calming and joyful high. It allows us as planners to still bring the intensity of a big wedding, but on an intimate level.

🫶 Waking up feeling extra grateful this morning.

A year ago was my first official wedding that I had traveled back & fourth for. I was so nervous how this was actually going to work out. Traveling, working with an out of state couple, while I was now an out of state planner. Of course it turned out perfectly thanks to an amazing vendor team & an amazing couple!

I am just so grateful for how I got here, where I am and the career I have built over the last 11 years! Grateful for the people surrounding me and pushing me through all those years bringing us to this point.

Grateful that I can create amazing moments and memories for couples that last a lifetime. Grateful for the couples that trust me to do so for them!
