I grew up in Connecticut, studied in St. Louis, lived in Germany for five years and am currently living in Virginia Beach, Virginia with plans to move back to Germany in the future. I speak English and German and do graphic design work for clients all over the world. The Gulf Road Shop is named in honor of my grandmother, Margaret Baker, who lived at Seven Gulf Road in Western New York, and her hu

sband, my grandfather, Marshall Baker, who wasn't allowed to develop his artistic and musical abilities. Grandma Baker, one of the most giving, unselfish women I've known, was in my life until her passing in 2011. I never got to know my grandfather, but his calligraphy, and the memory I somehow have of him despite his early passing are some of my most precious possessions.
