Last week we were delighted to launch our children’s story book ’The Vanishing Elephant’ 🐘 out into the world!
The book, which accompanies our theatre production of the same name, is a collaboration from playwright Charles Way and Set and Costume Designer Sabine Dargent.
We are so excited that young readers and their families can now share this story together, as a stand alone reading adventure, or in advance of their visit to see us in The Grand Opera House, Belfast as part of Belfast International Arts Festival

A fun and creative, simple, theatrical game to play with your child or class is the classic 'Guess Who' - where everyone pulls a character from a hat and has to act in the style of that character for others to guess. It may help a child uncover their inner actor - and help with self expression 😊
WE ARE BEYOND DELIGHTED to have started the week with a read through of the script of our new co-production with Segerstrom Center for the Arts 🎉 🎭
Rehearsals are now underway in Belfast and we couldn't be more pleased to bring together a fantastic cast and start seeing this project come to life. It's magical!

The Vanishing Elephant doesn't feature any real elephants, but you will get to see this stunning lifesize puppet, our elephant Janu, take to the stage of The Grand Opera House, Belfast as part of Belfast International Arts Festival this October. This week our Artistic Director Paul Mc Eneaney and playwright Charles Way have been in Bangalore and Mumbai, working with the amazing choreographer Jayachandran Palazhy of Attakalari Center for Movement Arts...and MD Pallavi who provides the stunning vocals for the music in our production, The Vanishing Elephant!
The story of Janu, our elephant, begins in India and to make that story truly authentic, we collaborated with these talented people to fill it with the culture, dance & music of her home. We can't wait to bring this story onto the stage in Belfast this Autumn! 🐘
While we're here we have been meeting some brilliant venues and young audiences about future work... and are working on a BRAND NEW PLAY in collaboration with more incredible artists! 🎭

Maybe some of you caught our Cinderella production a couple of Christmases ago in Belfast... We added a few twists and turns to modernise this classic tale.

Our US tour of The University of Wonder & Imagination is complete! And what a time we had! Thank you to every single one of the 26,018 🤩 people that came to our shows! To the 22 venue partners from East coast to West - and to Culture Ireland and Arts Council of Northern Ireland for their support in helping this amazing experience happen. We are so proud to have brought this piece of theatrical magic out of the screen, where it was born in the pandemic, into reality, to young audiences across the states.
