Hello there to my flower (and cake) loving people!! I’ve never introduced myself so here goes! I’m Andria, owner and head designer of Flora & Fauna Design. I was a hobby florist and cake artist for many years and decided this year I wanted to take things up a level! I have really enjoyed working with many of you and appreciate your trust in me to help create the vision you want on your special day.

I have also come to love working with local flower growers and have learned so much from them this past year. Something I am hoping to add to my business portfolio in the next few years is being able to grow some of my own flowers! I took a class this summer where I had hands on training in a garden setting as well as learning about what flowers thrive and work well in Utah.

These are a few pictures from a recent photo shoot I did with She did such a fantastic job! It was so fun to work with her.

The flowers consist of ones I grew from my class at Snuck Farm. Also flowers from Foothill farm flowers and Red Mountain Wholesale.

The cake is cream cheese cake with cheesecake filling, graham cracker crumble and cream cheese frosting.

Birthday treats for a special birthday “girl”…my mom! She said I could surprise her with what ever cake I chose to make. This is (not a pie) cherry cheesecake pie cake, minus the cherries. We put a medley of fresh berries on the side.
The brownies are also Courtney’s recipe and they definitely do not disappoint!

For most Utah students, graduation happened last week. Thanks Kristine Visser Laws for asking me to make a graduation party cake! Congrats to Tyson! He is an amazing human and I can’t wait to see where his adventures lead!

It’s one of my favorite times of the year! Peonies are making their short but memorable appearance! I’ve loved learning more about them this year; plus I’m so grateful for neighbors that graciously let me come cut some every time I ask! Add some garden roses from my daughter’s yard and it’s the perfect little bouquet to enjoy! 🌸

I love when brides share their photos with me. It’s a joy to see the flowers put into context. Especially this one! My fellow widow, non-profit partner, and most of all wonderful friend had such a stunning day! These pictures show it. So happy for the both of you! .lizpalmer
