For its history and beauty, the Villa has been named a Residence of National Interest by the Superintendence of Artistic and Architectural Heritage of Lazio.
Villa del Cardinale is an exclusive location in the Castelli Romani for weddings, luxury weddings, events, private parties and corporate.
Built in 1629 by Cardinal Gerolamo Colonna on the farm given as a gift by Pope Urban VIII Barberini, it is the work of the architect Antonio Del Grande, who was also responsible for the Cathedral of Rocca di Papa and the Church of San Barnaba in Marino.
