13 Carrots Catering 13 Carrots catering Even at a young age he knew that he was destined to be a chef. There he was taught the art of baked breads and French Classical Cuisine.

Brent hails from Port Colborne Ontario, where he grew up helping his grandmother with pastries and wedding cakes and his Oma with sour kraut soup and cabbage rolls. While attending culinary arts at Niagara College in 2001, Brent worked at La Cachette which is located in the wine region of Niagara on the Lake. From there Brent took on a position working for the PC party at the Albany Club as Chef D

e Partie, he was mentored by one of Canada’s top chef’s Pierre Michelle Bouedec. After living in Toronto for 5 years Brent became home sick and knew it was time to get back to his roots, The Niagara Wine Region. There Brent took on jobs at Vineland Estates and Hildibran Winery. In 2008 Brent was offered a position as Sous Chef at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club located in Ancaster Ontario. Not only was it a career for Brent but it was also where he would meet his soon to be wife Sara. Brent and Sara now have 5 beautiful children. Brent and Sara decided it would be best for Lily, Kaiden, Barrett, Willow and Paisley to grow up in a small community, so once again Brent and his family moved back to the Niagara Region. It was then that Brent decided it was time to go out on his own, so in early 2014 he started his catering company “13 Carrots”.

13 Carrots is a catering company that’s “a little something different from everybody else”.

Kids Cooking Classes starting in Dec. Limited to 10 children. Must commit all classes. Unfortunately, some spots were filled last time but ended in a no show, so it takes away from others who want to do the class. Payment for all classes is due at first class.

Ok. Looks like we have a kids cooking class tomorrow (tuesday) to make up for today's class (monday) due to the tornado warning.
