Wreath for Warriors Cancer support wreaths made by a cancer patent. Wreath for Warriors was created by Rod Newman after his first year of battling W.H.O.

Grade II Oligodendroglioma (Terminal Brain Cancer). He always has loved wreaths and everything that they symbolize. Question: Why do the wreaths that you create have lights on them? Answer: They are there to give my fellow warriors a beacon of hope, encouragement and strength to shine even in your darkest of hours. Question: Why is there a Monarch Butterfly on the wreaths that you create? Answe

r: Normally the butterfly represents a transition from one stage in life to another, from caterpillar, to chrysalis, to butterfly. But it is there for more than just that reason. A cold September morning I noticed a Monarch Butterfly on the sidewalk in front of my driveway. She was trying to fly but could not get enough lift because it was so cold. Very carefully I picked her up and stepped out into the sun so she could get warm. I then raised my hand up as high as I could reach. She took flight and was falling toward the ground but was able to get enough lift just inches from hitting the sidewalk and she was able to fly away. I remember standing there watching her fly away until I could not see her any more. On my wreaths there will always be a Monarch Butterfly, no matter what color of ribbon. She is there to remind everyone that we all need that little bit of encouragement, a helping hand so to speak and to be lifted up in a time of need so we can all fly again. Question: Why is the little bird on the wreaths that you create? Answer: It was the December of the Pandemic. I decided to just hang something that year even though we were all in lockdown. The days were a little more heavy than normal and it was quite lonely. I happened to be outside and a little female Finch flew in and perched on my Christmas wreath that I had hanging in my entryway. I normally deck the halls but just hung the one that year. She is there to remind my fellow warriors that no matter how hard the road gets, and how lonely you may feel, you are never alone in your journey.
