A PARANORMAL ‘LIGHTS- OFF EXPERIENCE' AT THE GERMAN MIRUS GUN BATTERY:

This Saturday 27th July 2024:

In recent years, numerous 'experiences' have been reported in one or two of the large Mirus underground bunkers, and this has attracted paranormal investigation teams to investigate and see if they can find any evidence of the paranormal.

This event is an introduction to the paranormal and will comprise a brief tour/talk of past reported paranormal activity, with first and second-hand stories, sightings and experiences, followed by the lights being turned off so those attending can conduct their own paranormal investigations.

To help with this, some equipment will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own equipment.

There are a number of 'paranormal' apps for mobile phones that are said to assist with finding possible evidence …. a bit of research will tell you which ones.

Come as a group for something different on a Saturday evening!

An interesting time was had yesterday evening on our New Year Paranormal Investigation Event in the underground bunker at the Mirus Gun Battery!
Thank you to all of you who took part.

Both the investigation part (with various pieces of equipment) and the seance proved successful; considering we have only recently started up again, there was quite a lot of ‘activity’.

During the seances, a few of those present had communication with family members, as well as with ‘Peter’ the German soldier stationed at the Mirus, who has ‘communicated’ with us over the years.

For those who don’t believe …. Come along and see for yourselves!

On Halloween 2022, the world’s youngest historian visited one of the large, and supposedly. haunted underground bunkers of the Mirus Battery.

It was filmed without any lights on and using only one head torch between him and the cameraman, and the echo in the bunker made recording his voice quite challenging at times.

This particular bunker has been the subject of paranormal investigations in recent years and numerous paranormal experiences have been reported in this bunker and also in other Mirus bunkers.

The cameraman reported hearing a few strange knocking sounds while filming, and at one point, he also reported hearing 'voices' nearby that appeared to be talking - except there was no one else in the bunker or anywhere hear the bunker on the outside. There are also some unexplained 'clicks' and other noises in the audio that were only evident when the video was being edited - they were not heard at the time.

Although there are one or two sound effects in the video, virtually all the film is untouched and what was recorded at the time.

On Saturday 21st October MPE hosted their second paranormal event for newcomers to the world of paranormal with 12 people attending the event.

What started out as a quiet evening, turned out to be one of the best and amazing paranormal events we have hosted over the last few years.

One or two younger members of the public (who speak fluent German) took to using the dowsing rods (in the main toilet room) at the same time as asking questions with incredible results: A very tall German soldier called ‘Peter’ who has ‘come through’ in past years, came through very strongly …. we believe because the questions were being asked in German! What made this even more fascinating was that a ‘pet ball’ was placed in the middle of the room … and went off continuously for over 30 minutes, with gaps of a few seconds in between the flashing; this has never happened like this in the past. It was incredible to watch … and hear the answers being given translated from German.

Towards the end, we thought that maybe there was a problem/fault with the ‘pet ball’, but when the young lady with the dowsing rods ‘told’ Peter we were moving to another room to talk to him and finish the evening , he ‘said’ he wanted to stay in the toilet room talking to us and did not want to move to another room; as the dowser said we were going to move, the ‘pet ball’ stopped lighting up … and did not light up again! Not once after that.
(For information, when checked later, the ‘pet ball’ was operating normally).

We moved into the final room (the crew bedroom) but although Peter came through again to the lady with the dowsing rods, he ‘said’ he would not light the ‘pet ball’ light up anymore ….. and that is exactly what happened.

Other things ‘Peter’ communicated were that he died in Guernsey … he was 30 years old when he died … he visits the bunker but is not ‘trapped’ there … and he used to work in the Mirus Battery.

Then another lady started using the dowsing rods, and after a short while, both sets of rods mirrored the answers being given to questions asked by the first young lady! It was quite incredible to watch.

This was one of the best investigations evenings we have witnessed for many years, and just a pity we didn't have an infrared video camera to capture the activity!

Attached a a couple of photos taken with the infra red still camera showing the ‘pet ball’ lighting up … the young lady with the dowsing rods communicating in German with ‘Peter’ … and a light anomaly in the toilet room.

For information, we have had Mediums on our investigations in past years, who have communicated with a tall German soldier called ‘Peter’.

Note that all the photos were taken in almost total darkness.

We had a great weekend on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th October 2023 at the Mirus Gun Battery, with two public events to introduce people to the paranormal on our ‘Introduction to the World of the Paranormal with a Mirus Battery Ghost Tour & Lights-Off Experience’.

After a break of around two years, around 30 people attended the events, and, judging by the feedback received afterwards, a good time was experienced by all those who came. Most of those attending had no previous experience in the paranormal.

Using several types of paranormal investigation equipment, we had some interesting results including ‘pet balls’ lighting up when asked questions - at the same time as EMF meters going full scale into the red (see attached photos).

We also captured several light anomalies - some stronger than others. You can see these in the attached photos … as well as photos taken just a few seconds after … and the light anomalies are no longer there. All these photos were taken with an infra red still camera in almost total darkness.

Some of the light anomalies appeared at the same time as people were asking questions using dowsing rods.

We will be announcing another public investigation event shortly for November, and every month thereafter.

Mirus Paranormal Events will be hosting regular paranormal investigation events in the near future at the WWII Mirus Gun Battery, which will include the use of some paranormal equipment, and will include seances; these have been done numerous times in the past in the underground bunker, and, due to demand, we are going to start them again.

Our resident Medium will 'open' and 'close' all the events in line with best practice.

'AN INTRODUCTION TO THE WORLD OF THE PARANORMAL WITH A MIRUS BATTERY GHOST TOUR & TALK FOLLOWED BY A LIGHTS- OFF EXPERIENCE'

In recent years, numerous 'experiences' have been reported in one or two of the large Mirus underground bunkers, and this has attracted paranormal investigation teams to investigate and see if they can find any evidence of the paranormal.

This small group event hosted by MPG is an introduction to the paranormal world and will be split into two parts:
In the first part, we will discuss past reported paranormal activity, with first and second-hand stories, sightings and experiences, as well as a brief general tour of the bunker.
In the second part, the lights will be switched off and those attending can conduct their own paranormal look around with the help of their mobile phones ... and one or two small pieces of equipment which will be supplied.

There are a number of 'paranormal' apps for mobile phones that are said to assist with finding possible evidence!

Hello to all those in Guernsey and in the rest of the Bailiwick who are interested in the paranormal!

Mirus Paranormal Events are a small group who have experience in the paranormal, and have investigated Mirus Battery underground bunkers numerous times in the past.

We aim to introduce the paranormal to those who have no past experience in this field, as well as provide those who have done this before with the opportunity to investigate and prove that there is another ‘side’ 👻

With this in mind, we will be hosting regular evening events at weekends and hope to see you at some point 👍
