The great wedding party debate…
More couples are choosing to have small or no wedding parties. This decision is so personal, and every couple is unique. There is no wrong decision, but you have to consider what feels right for you and your partner. Here are a few things to consider while making this decision!
✨Communication is Key
Talk openly with your partner about your preferences and expectations. Finding common ground will make the decision-making process smoother.
✨Support System
Bridesmaids and groomsmen are there to help, support, and share the joy. If you've got a crew that's always been there for you, having them stand with you on your special day can be incredibly meaningful.
✨Size Matters
Think about the size of your wedding. A larger celebration might benefit from a bridal party, while a more intimate gathering might call for a simpler approach.
✨Logistics
Managing a large bridal party can be challenging. Consider the logistics of coordinating outfits, schedules, and personalities. If it sounds like a breeze, go for it! If it feels overwhelming, a smaller party might be the way to go.
✨Tradition vs. Modernity
Don't feel pressured by tradition. It's YOUR day, and you can customize it to reflect your style. If a twist on tradition suits you, go ahead and break the mold!
✨Consider Alternatives
If the idea of a traditional bridal party doesn't resonate, explore alternative roles for your close friends and family. They can still play important roles without formal titles.
✨Quality Over Quantity
It's about the quality of the connections, not the quantity. A smaller bridal party can be just as impactful and meaningful.
✨Natural Elegance has a new look✨
Aligning Natural Elegance with my other passions has been on my heart for some time now. Although wedding planning is my first love, interior design, and historic architecture also hold a special place in my heart. There is something magical about walking into a space with a sense of meaning and history. I am passionate about intertwining my clients’ styles and stories with the space they choose to get married.

My favorite spaces are those with meaning. When I began working with Aly and Brandon, they were torn about where they wanted to host their wedding. We talked through other options, but kept coming back to a place that had a special meaning to them both, Blue Mound Golf & Country Club.
Aly and Brandon have spent so much time at the club, which meant we needed to make the room feel completely unique for their wedding day. My goal in wedding design is to show off a couple’s story and style while still embracing the charm and architecture of the space.

All the happy tears when I read reviews from my clients. 😭💕
“I started wedding planning on my own and was feeling so stressed by the process. After hiring Kristin I was able to relax and enjoy the process. Kristin is an amazing listener and really helped me realize my vision of the day. She is thoughtful and organized and knew all the right questions to ask me and our vendors. Every call with her left me feeling relaxed and reassured that our day would be perfect (and it was!). On the day itself, Kristin was on top of all the details big and small. She was there every step of the way to keep things on track and running smoothly. Thanks to Kristin, I was able to be present and enjoy every moment of the day. During and after the reception, I received so many compliments and requests for Kristin's info. Hands down the best money I spent on my wedding.”
These two lovely humans are celebrating their anniversary today. Planning with them was a joy and it’s been so fun to see how they’ve grown as a couple and a family since this beautiful day. 💕

When asked what my favorite part of a wedding day is, so many incredible moments run through my mind. One highlight is meeting my clients' favorite people. 🤍
Building trusting relationships with and getting to know my clients during the planning process helps me design and craft a day that is completely unique to who they are. Seeing how they interact with their friends and family opens a new window to their personalities and what makes them unique as a couple.

✨NEW OFFERING FOR WEDDING VENDORS✨
I'm excited to share that I am offering wedding day styling!
Every wedding has a story that is brought together by the hard work and passion of the creative team. When it comes to capturing that story, no stone should be left unturned, and no fork should be left unaligned.
In an industry where presentation is everything, the details of your events should be beautifully styled to echo the design of the wedding and the style of the couple. Being a wedding designer and planner myself, I understand that these details are more often than not, overlooked.
As a stylist on your event day team, I am focused on making sure the details of your event look incredible. I want to provide you with consistency and an attentive eye to ensure the story you've created is told.
Follow the link in my bio to read all of the details or send me a message if you have questions or would like to chat more about this offering!

One of my favorite times to design weddings is between summer and fall. Light, fresh colors can meet bold, rich tones to bridge the seasons together.
Andrea from Sage Floral created the perfect balance of dimension, texture, and color for Madeleine's early fall bouquet.

Well-orchestrated and beautifully designed events happen because the client trusts their creative team.
As a wedding planner, my job is to educate my clients and provide them with creative ideas, solutions, and resources, while making the process seamless and enjoyable. If you don't get along with or trust me, it's almost impossible to make that happen.
Trusting relationships are developed through authenticity, hard work, and consistent communication. My clients value quality and I want them to know, without a doubt, I will provide them with just that.

Creating a unique table design is all about layers, texture, and dimension. ✨
Ashley and Dan’s sweetheart table started with a textured neutral linen at its base.
Bright pastel hues in the florals, curated candle holders, ornate chargers, and delicate paper details added layers of color and depth to the design.

Happy Wednesday, friends! Time to share another big update over here. We closed on a fixer-upper a few weeks ago so Natural Elegance officially has a headquarters in middle TN. 🥂
I am so excited to get to work and put our touch on it. Most of our weekend was spent finalizing a color palette, creating a style guide for the renovation, and selecting materials. Get ready for some fun before and afters in my stories. 🔨

A late summer harvest wedding, as seen in the fashion of your wedding party. ✨
Helen’s bridesmaids wore mismatched satin and chiffon dresses in warm peach, salmon, and pink tones.
Their lush wildflower bouquets added a natural and organic touch that really brought the aesthetic together.

What is the most important thing I've learned since becoming a business owner and wedding planner? There is always room to improve yourself and your performance.
Each and every wedding I plan and produce, I learn something that makes me a better planner, person, or entrepreneur. Always striving to build on your experience is so important! 👏
Creative partners and fellow business owners: What is something you’ve learned or improved on recently?

These smiles say it all. Aly and Brandon were totally in this moment, enjoying one another.
I ask clients an essential question that helps guide the rest of our planning process moving forward: Imagine yourselves sitting together at the end of your wedding day. How do you want to feel at that moment?
Joy, fulfillment, and tranquility are common threads in how my clients want to feel. Natural Elegance clients don't want their wedding to feel like a to-do list of events and want the memories of their day to be clear. Ensuring that my clients can be present in each moment and feel fulfilled and calm at the end of their day is of the utmost importance.

Monograms here, there, and everywhere. 👏
Working with stationers to create an intentional stationery concept can pull a client’s passion through an entire wedding design.
A family passion for horses led to this design. Two horseshoes facing up symbolizes good luck, and created this incredible monogram surrounding that concept for Madeleine and Aaron.

Happiest of Thanksgivings, friends! 🤍
Today is about remembering how important it is never to take for granted the people we hold close to our hearts. My husband, Bryce, and I start each day by sharing with each other what we are most grateful for. Starting the day with content and open hearts makes any challenges we face seem less overwhelming. Instead of acknowledging those things closest to your heart occasionally or just once a year around the Thanksgiving dinner table, I challenge each of you to wake up each morning and think of (or share) at least one thing you are grateful for. What are you grateful for today?
📸:
I can’t think of a better way to start sharing Aly and Brandon’s wedding than with a post dedicated to this beautiful bride. Aly, it was such a joy planning your day together. 🤍

Want your business to be the top-listed Event Planning Service?
Whether it’s the whole picture or just bits and pieces, you have a vision for your wedding day. Putting that vision together can be overwhelming and it can be scary to ask for help because it’s hard to give up control when it comes to your most special day.
Having a planner on your team doesn’t mean giving up control of your wedding. It means having a dedicated person whose job it is to ensure that your vision comes to fruition. In a nuptial (or a nutshell if you don’t like a good wedding pun), here’s how adding a planner to your team works:
At whatever stage you’re at, we step in and go through everything that’s already been planned. We make sure all the small details are accounted for and become your partner in creating a cohesive, well flowing, and elegant event that leaves you and your guests overwhelmed with happiness.
