Well, how fast these two years have gone!💐

Two years ago today I started full time floristry. I joined and started level 2 floristry. I also started working at the beautiful to grow my skills and get some first hand experience.

Now two years later, I am a qualified level 3 florist and I’m slowly building my own brand of bespoke floristry workshops, of which I’ll be teaching and hosting in the cozy blossom shop.

The first 5 photos are my most recent favourites in the last couple of months.✨
The last 5 are bouquets that I did in the first few months, ending with my first ever bouquet.🌿

Had a little experimental session the other day! Practicing the art of crafting Wili Leis!

Leis are a huge part of Hawaiian culture and are a common symbol of love, friendship, celebration, honor or greeting. In essence, it is a symbol of Aloha.

Last night Studio 2 Horsham hosted a wonderful fundraising quiz night for St Catherine's Hospice, Crawley🧡

I was honoured to create this beautiful festive wreath to be auctioned off to a lucky person🥰

Bespoke Cascading Wedding Bouquet🌺

This is a modern and a more unusual take on the classic Cascading Wired Bouquet.

I created a frame and threaded lots of different materials and textures on wires to layer over the top of my large Rosas, Dianthus and Lisianthus.

I finally get to share my Level 2 Exam pieces!

The two briefs were;
A modern art museum opening. We got to choose which celebrity that was to open the museum and design something for them. Of course I chose the Iconic! Vivienne Westwood!

And then for the second brief. Eco friendly funeral arrangements. I chose to do a funeral garland made entirely from foliage, raffia, string and moss. And then a purple and white, funeral sheaf💜🤍
