THE JOINT SESSIONS returns after the summer break on Friday 13 September and continues once a month for the rest of the year. DJ Roger C is back behind the decks with a freestyle... all vinyl set... which includes deep funk, heavy soul, rock, original raw disco, reggae rockers, afrobeat, latin kicks, old-skool hip-hop and loads more... all mixed up in an eclectic brew.
All served up in the legendary Zum böhmischen Dorf , Neukolln's favourite pub.

Some good gigs coming up at the Ventilate Festival at Humboldt Forum over the next few weeks, and they're all FREE! This is the one I'm most excited about seeing on 8th August the Fulu Miziki Kollektiv .... Afrofuturist Punk from the Congo... playing on recycled garbage, this is going to be wild!

STOP PRESS! DJ Roger C's monthly sessions at Neukolln's favourite pub Zum böhmischen Dorf begin again on Friday 8th September... and continue on the 2nd Friday of every month, from 21:00 til late... working on a fresh concept for 2023, so stay tuned here for more details.

Thanks to the friends who came down to support the final Joint Sessions of the 2022/23 season at Zum böhmischen Dorf last night... Now it's getting too warm for indoor pub sessions, so we're taking a break until September. Special thanks to Gemma & all the ZBD crew for their support. Big ups to last nights guest DJ Mark 92 from Karawane in Inverness, who turned in a great set... We've been DJing together for at least a dozen years, back in the Barcelona days at Seven Sins, Mirador del Migdia etc.
Mark 92 will also be DJing this evening (Saturday) at YAAM Beach from 18.00-22.00, entry is free (I think), so come down & check out his session. Personally I'm looking forward to a plate of jerk chicken & a cold can of Red Stripe.
