So for those who know me know I’m full pelt in my mum era 🤣 Creating my balloon business has been really refreshing and allowed me to have another focus, despite always putting those babies first - it’s nice to have something for me.

So I’ve booked a 4 month solo trip to Bali, joking 🤣 but I have done something….

I’ve booked a full day session being trained by the person who runs the academy I’m in to learn more balloon magic 🤩 it’s in Birmingham and I’ll be going on my OWN (weird) and spending the day learning new techniques & mastering the art of balloonery and probably making me more obsessed!

So it’s a big thing for me. I don’t think I’ve been away from the kids for that long but I’m pleased that I decided to invest in something for me.

I’ll be sure to fill you in in a few weeks on how it goes!

Tell you what, we’ve not done bad with the s**t boxes 🤣 (refer to previous post)
I’m honestly overwhelmed with the orders, the tags & just the general support. I won’t make an Oscar speech every time I get more than 5 orders I promise but I truly am so grateful 🫶🏻

I’m actually totally sold out of everything which is wild 🤯

Collections ❗️ Boxes, pop me balloons & baskets will be ready to collect from tomorrow afternoon, anytime after 3pm! And Saturday too. Please let me know when you’re coming so I can have them out ready for you 🥰 helium bunny’s will be ready Saturday evening 🤍

Help needed!! So I have a huge balloon setup towards the end of April and my client is looking to have a cake to match - something like the picture!
Can anybody recommend a baker who can create something similar?

I get asked a lot for cake recommendations so I’d love to consistently work alongside a small business 🤍

It’s all the rage at the moment!
Lilo & Stitch but this one was specifically just Stitch!
I’m sure this has come back around again, lilo and stitch was my era I’m sure?!
Either way it’s such a cute little theme 🥰
And I’m getting more confident putting my own little spin on it with my own vinyl creations 🤩

This is balloon assistant Jude. He helps mummy create all of your lovely balloon pieces 🫶🏻

Jude’s main focuses are ensuring he has a balloon for himself at all times, if he doesn’t - we must abort mission.

Making sure at least one of the balloons does a fart noise round the room because nothing is funnier and if we don’t, what’s the point in your mum doing balloons?

Jude also helps by finding different pots of balloons and tipping them out whilst screaming “TIP IT”, especially when it’s the balloons mummy doesn’t need and mixing the colours up 🥰

My why 🤍

I haven’t shared much behind the scenes but I never know when people think it’s a bit of over sharing 🤣

However - I’ll introduce you to my reasons. This is Romy and Jude, my 2 ultimate loves.

Despite having an incredible partner who is the backbone of our family, I don’t do well with being a stay at home mum with nothing to do… equally I don’t do well with leaving my kids to go to work so I felt a bit stuck.

I’ll go into the story of how I started doing balloons another time, but it’s bizzare how much I’ve fallen in love with creating pieces of work for you guys and helping you come up with the best creations for your loved ones, your parties and seeing those customer photos when your little one has seen their balloons for the first time 🥹

So when you’re ordering from me, you’re not paying towards a multi billion pound business, or a CEO who couldn’t care less about your purchase. You’re supporting me and my family in a ton of ways you probably never thought of. And for that I am incredibly grateful.

We’re doing a bit of self love today and I’m giving myself a pat on the back and since you asked I’ll tell you why 🤣

After I’d done a balloon setup (which I will show tomorrow 😎) I drove past The Merlin in Alderly Edge. I saw it filled with balloons and it looked beautiful! I thought to myself “Gosh I’d love to do something like that in a venue like The Merlin” and I drove past it with a “one day” attitude. Then I looked on my passenger seat and remembered I had loads of my newly printed flyers….
But surely I couldn’t give them somewhere like that? Me?? As in the same person who’s got balti stained fingernails from a curry last night and one of the last picture in my camera roll was me comparing my hand to a chicken fillet because I couldn’t believe the size??
Surely that’s not the clientele they’re after 🤣 (I’ll attach a picture of the fillet because if I was reading this I’d wana know how big it actually was).

But I reminded myself that nothing ever comes out of your comfort zone if you’re not willing to take a leap. So I spun my car round the roundabout (not literally mum) and parked my little fiesta next to a brand new Range Rover 🫠

I waltzed in like I didn’t have £22 fake uggs on from Tesco and remembered the house I’d just done some balloons in had a Jo Malone diffuser in the toilet and I used the toilet so who’s winning now? Thank u

Anyway I offered them some leaflets and the lady behind the bar was SO so lovely and made me feel like less of a bellend so that was really kind.

Moral of the story is always take a picture of your chicken fillet x

Ps I’m proud of myself today because all jokes aside that was a lil bit daunting 👊🏼
