Wyrd Wrld is back for it’s third edition with a stellar lineup featuring , a forward-thinking electro producer from London best known for his meticilous live sets and outstanding recent output on labels the likes of Mechatronica, Orson and Balkan. With support from local artists and , two up-and-coming local selectors, alongside Portuguese techno mainstay making a rare appearance in Lisbon, we’re set for an explosive lineup this Friday May 31st at , the independently run cultural association kindly welcoming us for the third time.

Rolling with the momentum gained from their inaugural event in November last year, headlined by Jerome Hill (Don’t / Super Rhythm Trax, UK), the Wyrd Wrld crew is back for the second edition of their quarterly night, slotting into a packed calendar for Arroz Estúdios’ final month at its current location. A trio of artists navigating the borderless zones of techno, electro and industrial grace tonight’s lineup.
Packing an expansive vinyl archive and many years spinning records at festival stages and backwoods gatherings, expertly fusing the sounds of deep techno, electro and EBM, Coimbra legend David Rodrigues initiates the proceedings alongside his partner-in-crime Gil Mac (vox+efx) under their Hedonic2 alias, setting the tone conjunto with a three-hour set.
Building the next bridge, Iranian artist Deioces has come down from Porto with an artillery of Persian-inspired syncopated beats, delving into the trippier side of his catalog to deliver an enigmatic LIVE SET.
A resident at Prague's institutional club Ankali and member of the affiliated Planeta Za collective, Marie Pravda concludes the night with a highly anticipated appearance at Arroz for her Lisbon debut. Pravda's meticulous sound, gathered over years of digging and immersion in Europe’s club underground, incorporates deep techno of the highest order, intertwining influences rooted in trance, IDM and bass culture.

Pedro Beça () is somewhat of a household name in Lisboa, having earned his craft through his long-standing Tuesday night residency at the infamous Lounge bar downtown. There in the low light, Beça spins the records he wants, carving out his own house sound through an arsenal of beats, bleeps 'n' breaks, fused together with a heavy dose of crunchy acid.

On Friday October 27th, we’ll be hosting our first ever club night at the infamous Arroz Estúdios. The night strings together a wyrd web of visuals, vibes and sonics - soundtracked by Jerome Hill, who is flying over from London for his first appearance in Lisboa for 17 years, alongside a line-up of some of Portugal’s finest rave experimenters.
We have very limited early bird tickets available for €8. A limited amount of 2nd release tickets will then be available for €10. After that, the price will be €12 on the door and online.

📀 @sashatheft is an active DJ and party maker in the local Lisboa scene. They run the curious @ins3ktraeve parties, held every so often at @planetamanas; one of the many spots in which Sasha Theft is known for carving up the dance floor, exploring a world of 'psychedelic, entomo-based sounds’ on their USB. They've played alongside international artists such as Objekt, DJ Tool, Eris Drew, and CCL, and have contributed both audio production and creative input to the @kaptcha_fail label, whose recent compilation featured artists including the likes of Jensen Interceptor and D.
