As this week rounds a corner into the weekend, I’m grateful for three school visits this week to share the magic of reading. Children are just the best…their laughter, their yes-and mentality, their quick instinct to solve problems, their trusting nature, and their empathetic calm around Sedgie the Hedgie. And the teachers who continue to love, forgive, remind, giggle, and inspire - thank you. I adore my job. Thank you to Columbus City Schools and cheshireelementarypto for having me visit your schools this week! 📚 🪄 🦔

Lunch with women who love both animals and people and change the world around them for the better! Bring the Farm to You’s Christa Hein and Nancy Lockard a.k.a. The Turtle Lady were amazing company to feel supported, seen, and empowered to keep bringing our best to the world. Christa is going strong after more than a decade and Nancy is rocking retirement and has the BEST stories. 🐢 🦔 🐑 🐐 🦆

Sedgie took his role as a pirate hedgehog seriously and turned his toilet paper roll into a spyglass after our show at the Miller Park Library this morning. The audience was the CUTEST bunch of mateys, and they were so sweet and gentle when meeting Sedgie after the show. Mark your calendars for our next show there on January 24th at 10:30; Miller Park Library is in Upper Arlington and worth a visit even when Sedgie and I aren’t performing!

I had a blast twisting balloons next to Mr. E (Eric Nassau) at the Hilliard Halloween Haunt on Saturday. His kid-friendly tunes kept the little ones’ toes tapping and everyone interacting. He even wore a balloon Brutus shoulder rider to the game after the event. Way to bring f the fun, Mr. E!

Thanks to Destination Hilliard and all the businesses and community members for making it a super fun event!

The Performer’s Showcase at the Way Public Library (Perrysburg, Oh) was worth the over 2 hour drive (one way!)! So many kind librarians, talented performers, and book love in one space! I forgot to take any pictures while inside except for one of Professor Tony! He’s got mad skills and can balance a jenga game on his chin! Oh! And check out magicnate’s and my flyer for The Magic Duel that is available for summer bookings!

Good things await! I can feel it!

This gorgeous rainbow encircled Benny's Pizza Pub & Patio last week! My grandmother passed away that morning and I think this was her way of letting us know she’s okay. 🌈 💕 I hope you can join us for the weekly fun of Pizza and Balloon Night this Tuesday from 5:30-8:00! It’s the little moments that bring joy to life! Whatever you’re struggling with, may a rainbow come your way soon.
