The brainchild of two Bristol hardheads, the objective of Core Unit Crew's mission is simple...

To bring hard music back to the South West!

Growing up in the era of the old Gener8r nights that used to grace the city way back when, over the years we have witnessed the change in Bristol's underground music scene. And while we are by no means limited in our taste in music, we are both gutted to have seen the steady decline of harder beats made readily available to the masses in the South West.

Acknowledging regular and new crews who are providing the darker side of music (will not mention names directly but they are doing a great service), we aim to add to the roster and beef up the offerings that Bristol, and the rest of the U.K., has to offer, further pushing the hard front and giving you what you want...which we know is not foghorn DnB and minimal bootlegs! There is enough of it out there, and we have had enough 😒

Utilising our close contacts and friends in the Netherlands, we also aim to bring some smaller (and larger) acts over from Europe, giving underground DJs from across the water a chance to show Bristol what they are made of, as well as giving UK based artists a chance to play overseas, with talks of crossover events in the works.

This is a project which is backed with passion and drive, and we can't wait to share it with all you wronguns 😈

Plans well underway for our warm up event next summer! With the first main event set to hit town autumn time with some major headliners...👀

First main event looking like it will be scheduled for September next year to coincide with a HUGE breakcore headliner being in the country 👀 the shortlist of hardcore headliners is also looking meaty af...so worth the wait!

Will be hosting a warm up event earlier in the year on a smaller scale at a cosier Bristol venue!

Very excited about this and hoping to bring some serious filth to Bristol on the regular basis. Watch dis space

A new Bristol based night in the pipeline for 2024!

Aiming to bring a regular dose of hard music back to Bristol, with artists from the UK and overseas, alongside a variety of sound systems. Early stages still but please share and the updates will keep coming! First event is currently under development for the first half of next year.

Once the first event is fully prepped an event page will be out.

Also accepting mixes from any Producers/DJs who want to showcase themselves and are keen to play at a future event!
