One of my husband’s first observations after we moved back to Pensacola was that “you people don’t need much of an excuse for a party.” I take that as a compliment but have also come to realize that some of our traditions can seem a bit odd if you didn’t grow up near the Gulf Coast.

Growing up is a bittersweet thing. An infant no longer an infant before you know it and now has a little sister! As a photographer, it is so amazing watching them grow from shoot-to-shoot. I am so thankful when a family includes me from the beginning.
