I personally do not understand the logic as to why a car park needs resurfacing when it's perfectly fine.

It's like an end of the tax year dash to waste money when there are far greater needs and projects that would actually benefit the town's population.

Also shown within these images is No 36 Boutport Street, why has this building been allowed to far into such disrepair and decay ?

Bulldoze the lot and build real affordable one & two bedroom flats and tackle the big issue of homeless and many displaced families and individuals within our communities

I was born in the town and grew up at Miller crescent and have seen the town spiral deeper into decay these past years

Extremely embarrassed and feeling let down by local & central government

This evening, Saturday 16th December I attended the Veterans Charity Carols on the square 2023.

An amazing event which was well attended by the town's public

The sound of Christmas with performances from Tamsin Ball, The Chivenor Military Ladies Choir, The Appledore Band and the public that took part with the ever so popular Christmas Carols.

The Veterans Charity provides immediate support for our Veterans facing hardship on a nationwide scale and the amount of referrals is increasing rapidly

This morning I was at Little bridge house in Fremington the home of the very special Children's Hospice South West for the annual Santa flight courtesy of Historic Helicopters

Such an amazing event and all thanks to Historic Helicopters which is a non profit charity that restores and keeps these ex military aircraft alive and flying

As the year 2023 draws to a close I only have two events remaining that I'll be covering which are the following:

1, The Veterans Charity Carols on the square

2, Historic Helicopters Santa flight - The Children's Hospice South West

Every year I set myself a goal of supporting Charity based & Civic events where I can share a story of the great and the good in charitable events by photography and video

A baltic start to the weekend here in North Devon with an extremely heavy frost last night

Later today I'll be supporting the Bideford Bike show Christmas toy run which departs from the Quay in Bideford and makes it's way to little bridge house in Fremington. The home of the very special Children's Hospice South West

I'll be outside the main entrance only to film and photograph the bikes arrival

So if you happen to see lots of motorbikes with Santa's you'll know what's happening

Give them a beep beep and a wave 👋

A great array of live entertainment, stalls and special guest Jade Kingdom who turned on the Christmas lights with a huge cheer from the large crowds who came out and supported this annual event
