My very first baby hand spun✨
I started this way back in 2019 and it’s sat around for a loooong looong time. Well I finally got it off the spindle and blocked it, thwacked it and skeined it. And I ♥️ it so much!
It’s funny and rustic and a little scratchy. I know just what I’m going to use it for.
So glad I finally gave it some tlc.

Back in the saddle. Woke up needing buttermilk biscuits and so buttermilk biscuits were made.

🗣️Pro tips⬇️

*Pop the flour and butter blend and the buttermilk in the freezer for 10 minutes before blending.

*Letter fold 3X the roll and cut.

*Chill again before bake and your will get the puffiest, flakiest biscuits
ever💥

No sprinkle-filled bombs, nothing fancy, just real good homemade hot cocoa.
I like to make up a big batch for the season- good quality cocoa powder, sugar. Mix well. [I don’t know my ratio, I always loosely estimate based on what I’d add for one mug’s quantity.] You can add a little flair if you like with a dash of cinnamon or something spicy!
Or rough chop some chunks of good chocolate for an extra ooomph!
Store in an airtight jar. Ready whenever you like.
Left over whipped cream from the holiday pies was a nice bonus 💥
Pairs nicely with some knitting.

Love the sweater, love this yarn!!
Cannot say enough about it. I will be wearing it daily as soon as our weather cools. Unfortunately will NOT wear to this year. Had to cancel my plans but at least I have this lovely consolation prize😏
