This session was so much fun. Walking around a breathtakingly beautiful venue for 2 hours just letting my creativity roam, capturing memories for one of my dearest friends. These type of shoots are what it’s all about, y’all.

One of my favorite shoots from last year 🥹 (I’ve been meaning to post these for forever so don’t come for me pls)

For those of you who don’t know - I started working with as a shooter back in August-ish and it was one of the best opportunities I’ve ever had.

Stephanie & Cody are so patient, kind, generous and passionate about what they do. They’ve taught me a RIDICULOUS amount, nurtured me and helped me grow as a photographer, but personally as well.

I adored taking these pics of their sweet family. I’m lucky to have met them, and for them to have taken a chance on me. I hope one day you’re lucky enough to meet them too 🤍

P.S. I swear I’ll be better about posting 🥲 I’ve got a lot from the past couple months that I’m ITCHING to share!

Hello again (for real this time).

If you’re new here, hiiiii I’m Laney. If you’re not new here, you know I’m bad at keeping up with this account. It’s taken me 3 months to make this post because 1) I’m terrified and 2) I’m crazy b u s y. But I’ve learned a lot over the past 2 years about social media + marketing thanks to my full time job at and I’m r e a d y.

I switched my biz name up because I get that my full name isn’t the easiest to pronounce or to remember lol. And added “design co.” because, I’m hopeful that in the future I’ll be able to expand. I love videography and everything that goes into content creation, I just don’t have the time to do it alllll right now. I wanted a sort of “umbrella” title that could grow to include more than “just” photography. So, a win-win.

Over the past 6 years, I’ve shadowed multiple photographers and videographers, taken classes, and watched more Youtube videos than I care to admit. I’ll never know everything, but I’m always trying! The more I’ve explored into my passion with photography, I’ve learned that my ultimate jam is lifestyle + portrait photography. I do my best to emphasize on natural light as much as possible because my favorite thing is showcasing authentic, realistic moments and milestones, capturing the beauty of life and all its complexities. I’d describe it as my kind of “poetry”, just through a different medium than words.

Anyways, if you’re still reading this, I must be doing something right. SO - if you’re in the market for a senior, couple/engagement, friend, family or headshots session, or anything else your mind can dream up, I would love to work with you. Let’s chat & make it happen. Even if you’re not looking for a photographer, I like to think that I’m pretty cool so stick around and hang out.
