Starting the week of Thanksgiving (through Christmas Eve), we will be at Becca's Blooms in The Courtyard, downtown Oneonta.

Cakes, cookies, fudge, cheese straws, treat boxes, gift items.

We will also be there Nov 14, 5-8, for Oneonta's Christmas Open House.
Come see Santa and decorate a free gingerbread man cookie!

November 25 - December 24
Tuesday- Wednesday 10-5
Thursday- Friday 10-6
Saturday 10-5

Let’s talk CAKE in your timeline.

In preparing your timeline, we try to get all of the traditional obligatory things out of the way as soon as the bride and groom are introduced. This way, the bride and groom are free to do whatever they want for the remainder of their reception until it’s time for their departure or fake departure. It goes a little something like this:

Ceremony
Bride and Groom Private Meal
Introduction of Bride and Groom
First Dance
Father Daughter Dance
Mother Son Dance
CUT THE CAKE

Now, we are not forcing anyone to eat cake at this time…this just simply gets the photo out of the way and allows the happy couple to avoid being bothered anymore throughout the evening. The caterer/coordinator/designated cake cutter (whoever) can then go about cutting the cake whenever they get ready and they don’t have to bother the bride and groom!

This may not work for you, but it appears to work really well for all of our couples!

We’re all really just there for the cake anyway, right?

Kick off the holiday season with us on Friday, November 29th for a day full of festivities and delicious food from ʙᴏᴛʜᴡᴇʟʟ’s sᴏᴜᴛʜᴇʀɴ ᴋɪᴛᴄʜᴇɴ, Dog Eat Dawgs, Valor Bakery and PapaB's Bama Boiled Peanuts.

✨ Enjoy horse and carriage rides from 9 AM - 1 PM, plus complimentary s’mores, hot chocolate, and coffee to warm you up.

🎨 Our talented face painter will be here to add some extra holiday cheer.

🎅🏻 Santa will be visiting us straight from the North Pole until 1:00 (possibly longer).

​Valor Catering and Bakery is a delivery based bakery located at beautiful Highland Lake, AL that specializes in wedding cakes and custom cakes and cookies.

About us:

The Brodocks have been in the food business for over 30 years, Kathy, the baker and head honcho, started baking when their oldest son was an infant, as a way to bring in extra income while being a stay at home mom. The business stayed a hobby until 2015, when they built the commercial kitchen onto their home. Since then Valor Bakery has become a Blount County go to for cakes and sweets for all occasions with Valor’s Strawberry Cake being their most requested cake! Each member of the family contributes to the business is some form, from paper work to dishes, deliveries to mixing fondant. It's a little crazy sometimes, but #thatbakerylife is the sweet life.
