The Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) is a local non-profit organization, incorporated in 1981. CAPA’s annual budget is $1.7 million with the Open Arms Children’s Home representing almost half of the total expenses.

Soooo... We are trying to help a local swim team that needs community support to purchase touch pads for their pool.

What is a touch pad you may ask yourself: A touch pad sensor is an electronic timing device used in swimming competitions. It is located at the end of the swimming pool (underneath the diving blocks), and when a swimmer touches it when they finish their lap, their time is recorded.

Unfortunately the total cost will be around $10,000 to provide this amazing swim team with a much needed training tool.

If you own a business that would like to partner with us on this endeavor, or just a great community supporter, please reach out to us so we can get a plan together and show them that the community is there for them!!!!
