Lindsey & Jeremy got married in December of last year. They were incredible troopers with all the restrictions that got thrown at them. They had the most beautiful mountain wedding. I am so glad I got to be apart of this day. Moody and chilly, it's a good combo.

Our Story

Wild Magnolia is a private boutique specializing in fresh wedding flowers. We love designing flowers that are romantic, elegant, but slightly wild and whimsical.

Steel Magnolias. Oh, Dolly Parton… I watched that movie with my girlfriends in high school and I fell in love with the name. Five years ago, when my husband had this wild idea that I should start a business making wedding flowers, the name just sort of fell into place. Okay, I won’t lie, there was one other contender, but it was a horrible, no good name. After watching that movie, and before my dreams of being a florist, I knew one day I’d name my baby girl, Magnolia. So the business name is also sort of named after her…even though for the first four years, she was only a figment of my imagination.

I didn’t just magically fall into the world of flowers. I happened to be in nursing school when I got a job working with a local florist. The only reason I even sought out the job was because I needed a creative outlet. I worked for this amazing woman for an entire wedding season. She taught me, guided me, empowered me. Nurtured me in the field. I even had her as a contact in my first season of weddings to lean on.

I left nursing behind me entirely and moved fully into floral design. Once upon a time when I was just a little girl, I had a dream that I’d own a flower shop. I imagined little kids running around and I was wearing denim overalls (90’s kid).
