Lindsey & Jeremy got married in December of last year. They were incredible troopers with all the restrictions that got thrown at them. They had the most beautiful mountain wedding. I am so glad I got to be apart of this day. Moody and chilly, it's a good combo.

Tori & Tony had such a beautiful wedding in Canmore. These photos seriously melt my heart. I'm so grateful for clients & colour palettes like this.

Our Story
Wild Magnolia is a private boutique specializing in fresh wedding flowers. We love designing flowers that are romantic, elegant, but slightly wild and whimsical.
Steel Magnolias. Oh, Dolly Parton… I watched that movie with my girlfriends in high school and I fell in love with the name. Five years ago, when my husband had this wild idea that I should start a business making wedding flowers, the name just sort of fell into place. Okay, I won’t lie, there was one other contender, but it was a horrible, no good name. After watching that movie, and before my dreams of being a florist, I knew one day I’d name my baby girl, Magnolia. So the business name is also sort of named after her…even though for the first four years, she was only a figment of my imagination.
I didn’t just magically fall into the world of flowers. I happened to be in nursing school when I got a job working with a local florist. The only reason I even sought out the job was because I needed a creative outlet. I worked for this amazing woman for an entire wedding season. She taught me, guided me, empowered me. Nurtured me in the field. I even had her as a contact in my first season of weddings to lean on.
I left nursing behind me entirely and moved fully into floral design. Once upon a time when I was just a little girl, I had a dream that I’d own a flower shop. I imagined little kids running around and I was wearing denim overalls (90’s kid).
Call it fate or destiny. Call it a beautiful coincidence or a higher power. I believe God had a plan and a purpose for my life. God saved my life through flowers. I don’t claim to know it all. I learn the names of new flowers and foliage variations every year. I am learning how to create and design new instalments every year. I am humbled by the clients I get to work with. I am honoured to contribute to people’s wedding day. I love networking with other vendors within this industry.
Life is a beautiful thing. Being vulnerable and showing up. Finding your worth. Growing as an entrepreneur while growing a family. I am the face of the business, but my amazing husband is the behind-the-scenes guy. He’s my cheerleader. My business partner. He does the spreadsheets and the finances. He runs the Google Ads and manages my insights. He even admires texture and dimension in floral arrangements. We are the perfect team and together, we make up Wild Magnolia.
