Hey local friends!

I have fresh tulips in the studio this week & want to do the most good with them...

SO I wrapped them in bundles of 10 and set them out on my front porch for the taking!

Bundles like this would retail in the $20-30 range, but I'm suggesting a donation price of $10-$30 (whatever feels happy for you) and 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit our friends running the Chicago Marathon for Team World Vision!

Feel free to drop cash or a check off in the mailbox, or I've got my Venmo handle next to the bouquets!

Today is my 29th birthday and…
IM GIVING IT UP! ✨✨✨

What does that mean?

It means that today I’d love to shift the focus off of myself and onto an organization that I care so, so much about.

Today, instead of cards, gifts & venmos, I’d love for you to read about my journey with world vision & the work they are doing to provide clean water to those who don’t have access to it. And, if you are able, consider donating — no matter if it’s $5 or $500 every dime helps those who need water.

Today is my 4th Floral Anniversary ✨
Recently, I was asked if I have a favorite memory from building my business. Here’s what I said…

Several joyful memories come to mind when looking back at growing my business over the past 4 years. However, there are a few that sparkle a little extra. These moments include being featured on the front page of Style Me Pretty, working with Styled Shoots Across America (not once, but twice!), growing to the size of being able to take my business full-time, hiring our team members, our first weekend at The Kankakee Farmer's Market with The Flower Cart & countless memories of tearing up with brides when their bouquet is exactly as they hoped it would be.

It’s hard to sum up the past 4 years in a little instagram post, but just know I’m one thankful gal 🤍 Thanks for joining me for this journey!

Hi there! My name is Michaela and I am a florist who has taken root in Kankakee County, just a few minutes south of Chicago. I'm a lover of lattes, HGTV’s Fixer Upper, all things gold, and, of course, fresh greens & flowers! On Saturdays, you’ll find me at the local farmers market with my husband, Joe, and my maltipoo Emmie! We’d love to meet you so feel free to drop by at any time.
