Mobile/Wedding DJ Business FOR SALE!
This is a turnkey business and includes everything you need to start your side hustle as a wedding DJ! You can hook up the trailer, pull away and do your first wedding this weekend if you wanted too.
I'm selling all the equipment that I personally used to DJ weddings. Beyond the gear, the sale will also include the music as well as the trailer to haul it all in!

I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has booked with me, referred me to another, or came out and partied with me over the years!
I am completely booked for 2023 and am unable to accept any more events this calendar year!
Also, after considerable consideration over the past year, I have decided to bring my DJ business to an end at the end of the year. It has been an amazing run and I’ve enjoyed every event I’ve done. But as my kids get older and more involved in activities, it’s becoming tougher to juggle both and I want the freedom to attend as many of their events as possible. Thank you for the support over the years!

Wow, I have dropped the ball big time and have not been taking/posting pictures of the weddings I’ve been doing.
I’m in the middle of 6 weddings in 7 weekends and loving every second.

My Story
This DJ business came as an unexpected but wonderful accident! Not sure why but for some reason a last minute DJ was needed for a school dance at the school where I teach. Pickings must have been slim because they asked me to do it....and I’d never done it in my life! But wanting to help my school out I told them I would jump in. Our district had a small portable sound system and a buddy had some lights so we gave it a go. I really enjoyed it and the money I made went straight into an account for a club I sponsor (Jr. Beta Club). If you’ve ever sponsored a school club, you know that fundraising is a pain in the rear but I found a quick and easy way to do it. I just give up a little bit of my time, play some music, watch kids have fun and boom...money for the Jr. Beta Club!
I did this a few times and realized that I truly did enjoy what I was doing and wanted to take it outside of my school. So I invested my own money, purchased all my own equipment and started doing a little PR. It was not long before my calendar was booked up with weddings and school dances. I think my continues bookings and great reviews were the kind of feedback I needed to keep going.
This is not my full time job, I’m a school teacher and I love it, there are no plans to quit that. That is one of the cools things about this side business. If I no longer love doing it I can stop and quit booking dates. But at this time, it’s a blast and I have a lot of fun serving other folks and helping them celebrate their special event. I still donate a portion of my proceeds back to my Jr. Beta Club.

p.s. Many have asked where the name ‘Artful Science Event Entertainment’ came front. When I started there were two of us. My partner is the Art teacher (Artful) and I am a science teacher (Science), so that is where the name came from. I have to thank my beautiful wife for coming up with that :) I have since bought my partner out and am doing this gig solo but the name has stuck!
