His passion for music led him to djing lots of genres, from Balkans to Dub, from World Music through Jazz, Funk, and Soul into all varieties of Electronic Music. His DJ sets are known to be spontaneous and eclectic, dissolving genres into a groove-orientated, danceable journey through the world of music.

It’s a sad day today, as we say farewell to my friend Knocky, the Zulu warrior, Aka Jah Shaka. Shaka played a huge part in the establishing of AriwA
In the very early days he would book the studio by the days, and later we shared a building in Gautrey Road Peckham, with Jah Shaka Music operating from the 2nd floor
The international popularity of Dub music would not have happened without Jah Shaka
Huge loss to the Reggae Fraternity, with many Shaka imitators all over the world, from Spain to New Zealand. The Roots Warrior, King of the steppers cannot die!
