It was time for a refresh 🤍

O + T is coming up on 4 years old. As I look back on this journey, I’ve realized how much I’ve grown along side this little business. I’ve learned resilience, confidence in myself and my knowledge, communication, patience, and friendship. I wanted my new logo to represent this growth, while staying true to who I am. This new design truly represents me and Im so excited to share it with you.

The name Olive + Twig remains the same. I came up with it long before I ever considered owning a business. It comes from my time working in the forestry lab at the UMN. There was a Russian Olive tree on campus. I remember thinking the way the branches and twigs twisted and turned were so stunning and the name just came to me one day. You can see olive leaves drawn inside of the symbol of the bird. Birds have always been special to me and I felt it was the perfect way to add a bit of myself to the logo.

I hope you all love it as much as I do!

Running a business mostly through social media is tricky. How do you communicate through little squares your ethics, the heart and soul that goes into each project, the love for your craft and the value of your knowledge in what you do.

I asked you all to describe O+T in three words. The three that stood out and meant the most were:

Reliable.
Intentional.
Personal.

I truly care about each and every project. Whether you’re trusting me with your wedding or small business signage. I know how important these moments are and I put value into do my best no matter how big or small!!
