A cheer and a toast for the hostess of grace and warmth, the queen of the red carpet - Madeline. She has welcomed and cared for countless joyous couples along the way, and certainly always made me feel so appreciated and at home every time I arrive at the Lodge - on days on challenging weather, or when time is tight, mid-summer weddings when I'm running on fumes - she is there to greet with a smile and a hug. The 4 Star 40 bedroom family run Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa opened in June 2005 and quickly established itself as one of the leading hotels in Donegal, renowned for its character, charm and exceptional service. Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel with its fabulous Spa and Leisure facilities and award winning restaurant brings an unrivalled blend of attributes which continues to attract visitors to Donegal from around the world.

Located in the heart of the village with panoramic views of Malin Head and the world famous Ballyliffin Golf Club, the hotel has been designed and built to a standard that reflects the beauty and charisma of the local environment. The hotel has received four star accreditation from Failte Ireland and the AA and has recently been awarded a Gold award for green hospitality, the only hotel in Donegal to receive this award and in 2013 the hotel was the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Award for the Hotel and Spa Category. More recently Jack's Restaurant was awarded an AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence.

Facilities include all the usual modern conveniences in our guest bedrooms. Jacks Bar and Restaurant offers a gourmet experience for all discerning diners. Our bar food menu offers a combination of freshly prepared home cooked food with a traditional pub atmosphere.
