And with that the 2024 season comes to an end. I am so grateful to all of my clients who continue to support my small business and allow me to do something I love with people I love & also be a Mom and take care of my family.
This phase of life is messy and the growth is not linear. Schedules are constantly rearranged for sick days, meetings change and somehow the events always happen 🙃
I pride myself on building relationships with my clients, vendors and everyone I work with. This is what sets Balanced Roots apart from the rest.
Thank you to everyone who’s traveled this road with me!

While this topic isn’t related to my business, it is one that is close to my heart and I believe needs to be shared.
October is pregnancy loss awareness month. It has been a little over four years since our daughter was born sleeping at 18 weeks. While my journey to motherhood has been anything but linear, it has opened my eyes to the large community of women and families also affected by pregnancy loss.
Four+ years later, the grief isn’t as sharp, it’s mostly hard to believe that I ever held those tiny footprints in my hand. I will always be amazed at the complexity of realizing that if Sylvia were here, Gabriel would not be, and how so much love and sadness can be intertwined within the same concept.
Today we remember the “should be” due date for Sylvia, and recognize all of the families experiencing the loss of their child or children, especially those in my close circle of friends. 🤍

One year with my sweet Elliot boy 🤍
This year I had a baby, we moved houses, renovated a house and I had two of the largest events I’ve produced with this business to date.
It definitely wasn’t easy but with my village I was able to do it. 🤍
