While this topic isn’t related to my business, it is one that is close to my heart and I believe needs to be shared.
October is pregnancy loss awareness month. It has been a little over four years since our daughter was born sleeping at 18 weeks. While my journey to motherhood has been anything but linear, it has opened my eyes to the large community of women and families also affected by pregnancy loss.
Four+ years later, the grief isn’t as sharp, it’s mostly hard to believe that I ever held those tiny footprints in my hand. I will always be amazed at the complexity of realizing that if Sylvia were here, Gabriel would not be, and how so much love and sadness can be intertwined within the same concept.
Today we remember the “should be” due date for Sylvia, and recognize all of the families experiencing the loss of their child or children, especially those in my close circle of friends. 🤍

One year with my sweet Elliot boy 🤍
This year I had a baby, we moved houses, renovated a house and I had two of the largest events I’ve produced with this business to date.
It definitely wasn’t easy but with my village I was able to do it. 🤍

Want to make a holiday wreath at home? Here’s a quick how-to tutorial to do it yourself!
1. Prep your space. Cut your wire, your greens, and get all of your clippers & glue ready.
2. Create your wreath base. For me this means three bunches of greens. I tie each one together with wire, and then I lay it on top of my base to see if I like it.
3. Once I have my three bunches, I’ll wire them to my base.
4. Then I’ll go ahead and glue them down for good measure!
5. Next I decide what “decorative” items I want on my base: berries, balls, pinecones, citrus, etc. 6. Lay each item out to make sure I like it.
7. Use lots and lots of glue and glue it down to the base!
8. Last, choose your ribbon. Don’t be afraid to mix 2-3 ribbons. Loose and flowy is the name of the game.
9. There you have it!
