Liam pitched two inning tonight, striking out 5 batters and walking one to seal the win.
The opposing team members called Liam “A beast at the mound”

It’s encouraging for an 8-year-old to pitch against kids two years older as it demonstrates confidence in their skills and potential for growth. Competing against older, likely more experienced players can challenge the young pitcher to improve and adapt, fostering resilience and a strong work ethic.

Two years ago Liam took to baseball. Practicing nearly every summer day. Self taught, with determination like I’ve never seen. Now two years later he is playing on a team 2 yrs older than him. He shines in every position he plays, and thirsts more.
