It all started when...

We are Emilie and Wilson, and we opened a tiny pie and coffee shop in Beijing, China in 2015 after studying under the 2012 Shanghai WBC Champion, Zhu Kaiyi. Little did we know our 180-square-foot corner of the hutongs would win over the hearts of Beijing’s denizens.

Featured in VICE , Pangbianr, Lumdimsum, Smart Beijing, and various other publications, our award winning cafe, Rager Pie, was known for Thorsgiving and it’s weekly pie-to-the-face events, as well as for being the first to bring nitro cold brew to China.

We moved back to Austin in 2017 to start a family and continue to learn about coffee.

The desire to serve others awesome coffee has never left us, and that’s why Tezpresso was born in February of 2019.
