This beautiful family was so much fun to photograph and this might be my new favorite location! The best part of this session was when the kids called out as we were leaving, "hope we see you again soon!" In addition to delivering wonderful photos, my goal is always to give families a chance to spend quality time together just connecting and playing and having fun. Mission accomplished I think! I love this sneak peek so much and cannot wait to deliver the full gallery with more precious moments of these sweet and spunky littles and their beautiful parents.

Cousins are your first best friends and those relationships are important for a lifetime. I was lucky enough to have my cousins around me all the time as a kid and now as adults we get our kids together as much as possible! These 2 little ones have a lot to share with each other.

Summertime is for playing in the water! What do you think about this location for your next photo session? Family and childhood photo shoots are not always about dressing up in your Sunday best. Sometimes they're simply you and your favorite people playing and having fun while I capture those genuine connections and smiles and relationships on camera. One of my favorite things about living in CT, as a Southern California transplant, is that I'm never far from the water. And sometimes in the summer heat you just need to play in the creek!
I love everything about these photos!! These sweet sisters and their adventurous willing spirits made this session so much fun. I love that they were willing to climb right thru this random patch of weeds on the side of the road so we could get these beautiful shots. I love that momma saw these weeds and trusted my vision. I love photography as art. “No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist.” – Oscar Wilde So much of what you can create in editing starts in the camera.... metering and exposure and composition, oh my! But I love that you can give three different photographers the same raw image and get three unique photographs. I've been taking an editing class from an artist I adore and learning her techniques and making them my own have resulted in a look I'm obsessed with!
