Hello darlings! I'm still not face painting, but I wanted to let you know about another project I'm working on! I've drawn a corgi every day for 1,000 days. It's my pandemic project! The last couple of months, I've been writing a wholesome magical fantasy story to go along with them. They're called The Adventures Of Sir Puppingtons, and this is the queen from the story, Queen Splooty! The stories are sweet and they have good lessons about being kind and helpful and brave. They start at Day 933 if you'd like to read them to your kids in order! I'm planning on publishing them as a book too, so I'll post here when I do. Thank you for checking them out! I hope you're all doing very well.

Day 1,000!!!!!!!!!! The Continuing Adventures Of Sir Puppingtons! Queen Splooty was a gorgeous corgi, with as beautiful a coat as a heart. Her kindness and generosity were legendary, but her beauty was striking as well. 🐾1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

It's official, I've drawn 1,000 corgis in 1,000 days! Thank you so much for all of your support throughout this whole project! Thank you especially to my wonderful mom, my marvelous fiancé, my excellent friends, and my delightful patrons on Patreon! I couldn't do what I do without you!!

If you'd like to support the ongoing project, you can do so here! Thank you so very much!

Hi everyone! I hope you’re doing well. Here’s a little update.

I haven't face painted at any parties or events for over 14 months now. I'm fortunate to still be able to live comfortably and take care of my household in other ways. It's been a weird year of staying home, but there have been good things too! I've drawn a corgi every day for over a year. I've learned to bake, cook, and 3D print. I've spent plenty of quality time with our two ridiculous corgis!

Unfortunately I've decided not to paint faces at any events this summer either. I'll be fully vaccinated soon, but not everyone will be, and I'd prefer not to be a part of events that could spread Covid.

Please take care of yourself, get vaccinated, and keep me in mind for next year! I’ll miss painting your lovely faces!

I’ll post here again when I know more about when I’ll be face painting again. Thanks for your patience!

Day 393! Today's corgi is a re-drawing of Day 16, because my style has grown a lot since then, and the sentiment is just as true as it was over a year ago! The original is linked in the comments.

Right now, the best thing we can do to help each other is to get vaccinated against Covid-19. I know everyone would love to go back to normal (hugging relatives, having parties, dancing with strangers...), but we can't do that until we stop the spread of this nasty virus. I got my second shot last week, and I'm THRILLED. The side effects weren't fun, but they only lasted a few hours really, and they weren't anything that corgi cuddles couldn't fix! Definitely better than getting the actual virus. If you're on the fence about whether you want to get the vaccine, talk to your doctor. Doctors and scientists know what they're talking about! And if you know you do want to get the vaccine, please get it as soon as possible! Help your community, and get us all back to having parties again. 🐾💕
