Today is Small Business Saturday, and as a small business owner I couldn’t help but reflect on the amazing roller coaster ride that is running a business!

My business made it possible for me to stay home for my girls when they were little, to be present for their school events and activities as they grow up, while also fulfilling my creative dreams and having a purpose beyond family life. It makes me so happy to know that my designs have featured in so many celebrations all over the world and I have many more ideas I hope to bring to life ✨

I never thought I’d be an entrepreneur, and it’s not without its challenges, but I wouldn’t change a thing and I’m forever grateful for your support during this journey.

My kids have been begging me to start this Christmas countdown we used last year, in fact they loved it so much they asked if we could have a countdown for Easter, Halloween, their birthdays, you name it!

It's almost time to put it up again and I know they'll be so excited to add to it each day.

I love that it is reusable and we can use the same calendar every year ✨

I'm sorry to break it to you but... it's November already and Christmas will be here before you know it! 😬

I like to do Letters to Santa with the kids in November because it gives me enough time to plan our shopping and take advantage of some sales before Christmas.

This year I designed a new version of our previous Letters to Santa. I wanted to remove the "naughty or nice" concept, and instead use a more positive approach to the kids' reflection of their year. This letter will encourage them to look at kind things they've done and reflect on areas they can improve.

I much prefer this concept over the traditional "naughty or nice" option and wish I would have always used this version. Now to give this to the girls after school ❤️ and see if their wish list fits in the available space 😁

Halloween treat hack! 🕸️

Remember these chocolate coated Oreos I made a few years back?
I just bought a pack of chocolate covered oreos, then used melted white chocolate to add a spider web on top. Quick, easy and delicious. The kids loved them!
