Michelle & Noah exchanges their vows together eachother this past fall.

The vibrant red colors embraced the theme of their wedding letting it be complete romance.

One of favorite things the is to find, “natures frame” and take some solo shots of the Bride and Groom.

Sometimes you hear me say “let’s jump in that bush”
Weirdly enough there are sometimes minimal to none questions asked.

Here are three tips that I wish someone told when I got married.

1. Rely on expertise, as someone who knows a little about the Wedding industry you should try to enjoy your Wedding activities and with that emotional and romantic photos will follow.

Even if you do a DIY Wedding get a day of planner, this will take the load off.

2. Budget your time, if I were to say anything is to make sure you have enough gaps in your Wedding timeline to breathe.

Try to eat a meal before you stand all day, drink lots of water and take a 5 minute break here and there. Give yourself downtown before you walk down the aisle.

Usually a twenty minutes to a half hour works wonders.

3. Assign tasks to your Bridal party. This is huge, if you are a person who generally gets overwhelmed, have a couple point people in your Bridal party, so you can have time to sit and focus on your day!

One of the first things I learned in photography was finding the frame. The frame is what’s around the subject, and how you’d like to display it.

It’s taken me a while to figure out the frames in all types of settings. That’s why photographers go to locations early to figure what spot what would be a good area for portraiture.

Fun fact, frames tend to look different in during times of the days. Morning, afternoon, day and night. Also the season.

I can shoot at a location multiple times and still it would look different one week to the next.

August trends to produce very moody and/ or bright photos if your taken photos with your back facing the sun.

Just imagine dark shadows or the glow of Galadriel.
( Aha yes ^^ lord of the rings reference 😆)

The Catskills holds such a sweet place in my heart. The crisp air, gorgeous surroundings. The simple life of exploring locally always makes me feel rejuvenated.

Of course when Vanessa and Tommy decided to have their engagement session upstate, I packed my bags and was out ✌️

The colors were popping. Literally. The aesthetics of a fun little town brings out such special memories💕

If you ever get the chance to explore- Take it!

Chanel and Joseph wanted to keep the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony, but also wanted to share a special moment together before walking down the aisle.

For those who may not know, a First Touch is when you choose to touch instead of seeing your spouse before the ceremony. It’s a beautiful tradition that allows for a special moment between the couple, filled with love, comfort, and anticipation.

The first touch is a reminder to cherish every second of the day 💕

Today, as I sift through the memories captured, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with emotions. This year has been a roller coaster ride, but through it all, my passion for Weddings has only grown stronger.

I’m going to preface this by saying. This is Part TWO. YES, part TWO of Kevin and Emily. These are probably the most candid captures that you will see on my feed and YES, this is very intentional. Most Photographer’s will highlight the romance and indeed in my previous post it was all about the couple and their romance, but, let’s take a look at their RAW emotion throughout the day with all their friends and family- highly celebrated. The ceremony, the reception. The sweet glances and adoration from guests. The fun, and the magic.
