Iām going to preface this by saying. This is Part TWO. YES, part TWO of Kevin and Emily. These are probably the most candid captures that you will see on my feed and YES, this is very intentional. Most Photographerās will highlight the romance and indeed in my previous post it was all about the couple and their romance, but, letās take a look at their RAW emotion throughout the day with all their friends and family- highly celebrated. The ceremony, the reception. The sweet glances and adoration from guests. The fun, and the magic.

Brace yourself for either extremely cold weather or extremely hot weather.
For hot weather Weddings in July and August, have family members bring ice water ( freezing some water bottles ) that way you will be able to sip on cold water to cool down while taking photos.
For cold weather add on cute layers and have small hand warmers. Limbs tend to get colder fast before anything else.

Never underestimate the Photos you can get by taking photos indoors. Cydne & Cooper came up the suggestion of taking some of their Engagement Photography indoors. At first the idea was a local restaurant, somewhere that had a cute aesthetic that can fit the vibe of engagement pics.
We then decided on the most stunning Hotel near Yale.
That had the most catchy, vibrant interior. The outcome has the most precious pictures.
Cydne and Cooper let their vibrant personalities shine brightly. Appreciated their love, they didnāt hold back.
Cheers to your future Cydne & Cooper. I know itās going to be a sweet one.

I started off this morning, groggy, stumbling to my coffee machine. Ready to make a shot of Expresso. A little bit of boost and a little bit of inspiration.
Sometimes I have the wondrous opportunity to second for friends.
I love to second occasionally to shadow and see different techniques on how to draw out emotional images.
My self personally,I love the giddy, romantic, fun photos.
Weddings tend to pull people a little outside of their bubble.
For these shots here just a ton a love, barely any staging required and you can tell itās such a cute outcome!

āA little Contour and Confidence.ā
Iām not going to lie. The past couple years have been a struggle between knowing what I can do verses actually going for it. Iāve been processing that a lot of my work comes from actually having confidence and making a decision, without feeling the guilt of- āWas that really the right move?ā
Iāve been pushing my self more artistically, but most of art comes from emotion. Taking a step back and gauging it from the perspective of feelings, has been huge, exciting and quite nerve wrecking. Pushing forward seems a little off, difficult and challenging. Although, the rewards come generally come quickly, itās still hard to believe. Sitting in gratitude seems to be an uncommon practice but when engaged, life seems so flourishing.
Grateful for these small moments that make for the bigger long lasting character changes. āļø

Iām not going to lie Dan + Nicoleās weddings totally killed the color palette. I would definitely say thereās some weight in curating a mood board with potential color schemes for Bridal Party attire.
In the process it can be a tedious task, but in the long run, it can be captivating and enchanting āØ

Have you ever felt so captivated by someone or something that you just couldnāt stop snapping photos? Thatās how I felt with Tracy & Jared. It was a complete joy to be able to capture their expressions and include their fun personalities as the main prop for picture taking in their special day. Such sweet images.

Here is one fun tip for the day of your Wedding.
Reading your vows:
A lot of couples recently have been reading their vows to each other after theyāve had their first look. This can ease your nerves as you are preparing to say do and what better way to it flow out right before ceremony. Itās really intimate and only shared between you two. The photographers will stand back and take photos as you share this time special time together.

I must admit, Iām such a huge fan for using fun props or unique for Engagement shoots. Siena + Chris decided they wanted to get some photos with a vintage truck they have been working on and even though they had some hiccups getting it the session. They made they made there and photos are SO epic. Super inspired from their photo shoot. Love the non- typical retro vintage inspired ideas, they had my jaw dropped for days on end.
